I do believe a UMVC3 port for PS4 with netplay is possible. Even with Iron Galaxy behind it. But I don’t see Iron Galaxy developing MVC4 as a possibility.
That’s arguable, since not everyone agrees. You may not like their current direction, but that’s different.
She-Hulkis getting a new book actually. Also, they’ve had plenty of successes. Whatever you might think of her, Ms.Marvel/Kamala Khan has been doing well and the Jane Foster/Thor book is their best selling Thor book in awhile.
And the new Black Panther book has been really well received.
Ant-Man especially looks like it came from the Future Fight game.
I’m not a fan of Marvel’s current direction neither but I have found some books I enjoy. Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, The Vision and the Ultimates are great reads.
Only book I’ve kept up with is All-New Wolverine. It’s arguably their best X book, and that’s not just because it sidesteps all the current BS going on in thr other X books, and the second Civil War (although those are compelling reasons om their own).
That said, as I’ve said before, I really wish they’d use the game to help push all the nee legacies they’ve created.
I think they’d do a great job with the gameplay but I think the artstyle/visual flair/music would suffer. Plus being a smaller dev they’d definitely have to cave to whatever Marvel told them to do. Capcom fought with them to keep the characters looking classic for 3.
That will depend on which ones will actually be legacies or just around as a publicity stunt. I don’t see Jane Foster, Sam Wilson Cap, Cho Hulk, and Riri Willaims long term in their roles.
I’m hoping the rumors of 2v2 aren’t true. Why change what isn’t broken? 3v3 is what made the series popular.
And if I can’t get Storm fingers crossed they will at least include Scarlet Witch. Though she may be redundant in terms of playstyle with Doctor Strange.
That awkward moment when someone cites a white nationalist “alt-right” propaganda website as legitimate news commentary on diversity at Marvel…
That awkward moment when someone who gets all their opinions from Stephen Colbert uses scary words like “white nationalist” like he knows what he’s talking about…
It’s not even remotely “white nationalist”. And I’m hispanic, so…
