If I was making the game I would pick at least 2 Slam Masters characters, 5-6 Darkstalkers, 4 from Rival Schools, and 3 from Asuraâs Wrath, and 0 from Ace Attorney. Itâs not my fault everyone else has terrible taste.
What I find boring about Morrigan is that she appears like in every game, too overused. But I understand why people like her gameplay very much. Felicia would be more or less the same, and her gameplayâs too simplistic. Hsien-Ko was a nice change but sheâs not that exciting.
As for myself, I would pick another character instead of Morrigan.
More sexy female characters I donât know, Trish was fine but that characterâs no longer relevant (not saying Captain Commando, Donovan or Tessa are still relevant either). But I wouldnât put Resident Evil girls because thatâd be absurd, and other âiconicâ characters like Saki, Ton Pooh, Pure, etcetera, they were never important. Sonson was cool but sheâs way too Eastern IMO. Another choice would be Nina from Breath of Fire, but I donât think she would fit with the game style.
Sadly Capcom hasnât produced many memorable and usable female characters (or IPs, for the case) lately.
I donât give a shit about âsex appealâ, I only want cool or interesting characters that could fit into the game.
Vanessaâs not from a comic book but her design is so Western it looks like she could be in. Thatâs why Iâd like to see her along with the Capcom cast. And her gameplay could be interesting too.
But I see why people think itâs a bad idea.
I still would like her, it was the last one of female-lead Capcom video games and I think her design wasnât bad at all. Obsure, yes, but I think he could be salvaged.
I donât give a fuck about that. I want to see her butt and thighs.
Iron Man is a rich CEO and his suit doesnât show anything about that. Hulk is a scientist and all he wears is purple pants. Why do they need to wear a costume that denotes their career?
Not true. Youâre assuming that all of them are straight women. Lesbian and bisexual women read these things too and they loved her old design.
Wasnât there like this @affinity guy that said he wished Darkstalkers to be an all-female fighting game?
I really donât care about âSexy charactersâ, to me Chun-Li is a great female representative and sheâs not that sexualized but I find that irrelevant.
But I guess the Morrigan thing would be a little like the âNo Mai no Buyâ reasoning from KOF XII?
See, this is what I was trying to point out. Why should Marvel care about practicality? Shouldnât they worry more about making their heroes look, I dunno, heroic? Marvel characters are supposed to be the strongest, fastest, smartest, most capable beings in the universe. When they forget about that and go for ârealismâ and âpracticalityâ, you get this travesty:
Iâm not saying Carolâs old design was better. Her Ms Marvel suit amounted to being a flying blonde in a skimpy outfit. She was pure sex appeal, and I agree that all female heroes shouldnât fall into that. However, at the very least she stood out. Thatâs a good thing, you know considering sheâs in a world where sheâs often partnered with outlandish characters like a man in a gold and red robot suit or a giant green monster in purple shorts. This new design? Easily forgettable. This is space officer number 4 loading crates in the background forgettable. Thatâs not a word I want to associate with my Marvel heroes, and thatâs especially not what I want to associate with Carol.
I donât give a fuck about that. I want to see her butt and thighs.

Was a CEO. But youâre wrong anyway, since his expensive suits do show that heâs a rich CEO.
As for Hulk, Banner the scientist, not the Hulk. Banner does usually dress like a scientist would when not all Hulked out.
Look, i donât mind fanservice, i just prefer when it makes sense for the character.
Like Emma Frost or She-Hulk.
Not from what iâve seen. Hell, they even prefer the short hair
Yeah, Carolâs original design wasnât good at all, but the worst is that it was kind of contradictory with her background, you have an US Air Force career woman that now that has powers cares a little too much about being vain and flirty than a serious and formal soldier? I see why some people could find that a little chauvinistic and offensive.
But current Carol? I havenât seen a reader who likes her now, in recent comics sheâs been mostly an asshole and a pain in the balls.
Actually, sheâs been really popular since she became Captain Marvel, enough so that sheâs getting her own film.
And if by recent, you mean recent recent, thatâs mainly because of Civil War II, which is another thing entirely and nothing to do with her new costume.
Itâs more to do with the events of CW2, much like how people disliked Stark during CW1.
For the comic book forums Iâve visited, her solo titles have failed to be a hit (theyâre underwhelming at best), sheâs an asshole in Civil War II and Marvel just created a movie for her because they want to shove equality down on peopleâs throats (which isnât a bad idea actually, Iâm sure the movie will be better than the books).
Ms. Marvel, Silk and even Spider-Gwen have managed to be way better female characters than her. Carol is only given importance because sheâs powerful, as much as the main Avengers men (or even more), but she has show she doesnât have what it takes to make the eyes of everyone turn to her.
