Original team for MvC is solid even though the roster is ass. Its why you can do the 5fierce combo in MvC2 just like in XvSF. That engine they made was godlike.
DBZ has my SMASH college friends saying they will study this game with me. That got me hype. Always a soft spot for marvel, but getting my friends to play actual fighting games is a plus.
true.
but i will give him credit in that Ono is a great action/adventure game producer at least according to my experience playing action capcom games he has produced like onimusha.
but the fighting genre…er. meh. i dont think that man has or will ever understand what makes a good fighting game.
but at least he listened to the western audience that demanded rollback netcode. which is more than i can say for all the other japanese developers.
Ono is a producer, his job is more about making ure the game gets made. He has little to nothing to do with the gameplay. That would be Norio Hirose’s job in MvC:I and seeing that he worked on X-Men vs. Street Fighter I don’t think we have much to worry about.
Yup all that happens now is we have the first era of 2 cracks. Crack vs Crack.
Those who are afraid of crack can leave now. It is time to enter the world where everything is oppressive, unreactable and no act of balancing is ever enough.
I like how your whole thing is that you’re shitting on Sigma being DLC but seem to think that Arc Systems won’t put someone important behind a paywall.
If I wasn’t looking forward to it, I’d be hoping for Freiza or someone popular to be DLC just to see if you’d be like “But it’s OK because Arc Systems”.
He’s just an old, senile man looking for any game to be a catalyst to fight off Capcom for him. History shows that SFV and Marvel Infinite will be one and two in the FGC again.
Eh, I don’t think SF4/MvC3 had as much negativity surrounding their releases (from the general public) as SFV/MvCI do. Maybe these mysterious “big 2018 plans” can salvage SFV’s image and MvCI will actually have a good launch, but that would require more effort on Capcom’s part than they’ve shown previously.
