The same people that wrote think pieces about how Firebrand was top tier and how Taskmaster was the answer to MorriDoom back in early UMVC3, are now saying the leak might be the CEO build or that the game might be delayed to add more stuff. Guys, we got Capcom’d, plain and simple.
Jedah and Monster Hunter are pretty hype though. That is, of course, if we don’t get something like

I want to hear Capcom explain some of the weird ass choices for the Capcom side. I’m just so shocked that’s what we’re getting from that side, it’s so random.
We all knew no X-Men was coming, so the Marvel side turned out really good besides no Black Panther.
Those Marvel news on twitter, what the fuck? They literally said news would be coming by the end of the week when the story trailer dropped.

The leak said that there’s 28 characters on launch, meaning there’s 14 more characters left to reveal, those being
- Spencer
- Arthur
- Firebrand
- MonHun
- Jedah
- Dante
- Nemesis
- Nova
- Doctor Strange
- Ant-Man
- Gamora
- Spider-Man
- and Thanos
one more character is unknown but is speculated to be Frank West
BUT
The same leak also said that the unannounced cast (14 characters) consists of one MVC2 character (Thanos), 9 MVC3 characters (Spencer, Arthur, Firebrand, Dante, Nemesis, Nova, Strange, Spider-Man) (10 if Frank is in), and 4 newcomers (Jedah, Monster Hunter, Gamora, Ant-Man)
So… doesn’t that make it 1+10+4 = 15 characters? Was there a miscount or am I missing something?
Rumors/Leaks = you don’t know till you know. You hurt yourself more when you invest too much into them.
The only thing we really knew was that Marvel is coming. The rest we can only think we know.

I advice to not think too much about this anymore. This whole couple months that contained an excruciating drought of info to random fake leakers, and just all that emotional excitement… was just all for this.

I’m feeling better about this game today than I was yesterday. I guess my powers of self-delusion recharge overnight. Since I’ve recently reintroduced myself to fighting games and have always been a pretty basura player, I can practice a bunch of characters in marvel 3 and know a lot will carry over to infinite.
I hope we discover a lot of the changes that are supposedly coming for Iron Man from the build that’s coming at E3/CEO. I really want his launcher to be better and for him to have another level 1 super. What changes do you people want to see with the ported returning UMVC3 characters?
