Yeah but I want to play Marvel 4. Is either play or not playing 'cause the āCrawling in my skinā phase doesnāt do anything for me.
I used to go to arcades so the DLC costs are the arcade expenses and it doesnāt affect me much if I look at it that way.
Isnāt like the DLC prices are the mortgage/car expenses. Is just 5 to 6 bucks. Peanuts.
And I donāt like the DLC practice at all but is play or not play.

What a shame that there are 0 Power Stone and Breath of Fire reps in the initial roster. If they donāt show up in DLC, then thatās a pretty big sign from Capcom that theyāre giving up on those franchises. The Capcom side is just a great disappointment over all. Jedah, Monster Hunter, X, and (eventually) Sigma are really the only guys that stand out. Everyone else are either obvious picks (Ryu, Dante, Chun-Li), or are lackluster return characters (Arthur, Firebrand, Spencer).
Iām warming up to the Marvel side. Really interested in Ant-Man. So much gameplay potential for him. Strange and Rocket are great return picks. Thanos is also great, but I hope heāll be completely retooled. I donāt think comic fans wanna see the Mad Titan just throwing rocks and bubbles all day. Gamora is meh, but I am noticing a lack of speed characters in the Marvel side, so I guess she could fit there. The only WTF pick is Nova. Couldnāt Captain Marvel just have done everything he does? Such a redundant pick.
I dunno, Iām still trying to digest this all, but yeah, an ability to earn would soften the blow for me a bit, but I still donāt feel good about this starting roster; the numbers and the amount of reused characters left out. I want to believe that this isnāt the final roster since an old statement said that Capcom would be using this as a launching pad to resurrect several old series. I mean if DS comes back thatās cool, but I was hoping for some diverse picks. Gimmie a Captain Commando, an Asura a Cyberbots character, something out there, fun and different.
5 years is a long time for a company thatās going bankrupt at the end of next year

This starting roster is absolute doo doo. Theyāre literally gonna put all the good characters behind the paywall. Jedah is cool though. Iām just gonna wait for the Ultimate Edition and complete my backlog in the meantime.

Yeah, Thanos needs a complete reworking. He needs his brute force moves along his eye beams, punch blasters and mind control skills.
And Gamora has superspeed, plus a ninja and Kung-Fu master and much more. I wonder if they will do a Gen type of gameplay for her with Ninjitsu being more with her Godslayer Sword and Laser pistols and Kung-Fu/Pure Martial Arts with lots of superspeed high agility moves and Dim Mak.
I know āhopeā and ācapcomā donāt get along well, but Iāll wait for E3. If they show all those leaked characters, thereās hope for more, if they show half that fits the list, all hope is gone.
Hope is something you must have internally and canāt be based on material factors.
People said there was too much Xmen drama and too little time for a new Marvel to hit. The talk was it could not be done. The material world said there was no reason to hope.
