MVC Infinite Lounge: DLC Characters and Costumes launch Dec 5th

“Release Date”: 12/31/2017
LOL

Fuck both Haggar and Gief.

Put in Hugo.

Keep that big dumbass away from Marvel games.

Maybe Capcom Vs SNK 3, if it ever becomes a thing.

Fuck all three of them and put TvC Alex in it.

Truth be told, putting in a big body from Street Fighter/Streets of rage always felt incredibly off in Marvel games.

Oh, I see you’re supposed to be Andre the Giant. That’s cool. Hey, how about going toe to toe with Thor? You piledrive russian grizzly bears for training? That’ll probably prepare you for hand to hand with the freaking Hulk.

This only applies to SF-esc big bodies though. Asura(Maybe, I see it over anyything else), Nemesis, Tron, these are all decent big bodies that can scale up to Marvel big bodies

Its just a place holder, both sites use it. Expect the game to release in Nov 2017 or early Dec 2017 before christmas.

YES YES YES. I loved Alex in TvC. Good assist too.

Not true. Mortal Kombat has the best lore of any fighting game all the way from 1992

All the SF characters are implied to have some degree of superhuman ability. Zangief is so strong that his muscles cause steel swords to break. It’s also canon that Ryu once hit Hugo with a shin shoryuken (an attack powerful enough to level a building) and he brushed it off like it was nothing.

Wrong.

Dong Dong Never Die has the best lore of any fighting game, and that came out in 2009.

a follow up to my previous post

I

Except you said “engine” which totally means a different thing (especially since you mean “assets”).

I wasn’t saying they used completely the same engine the highlight of the paragraph is all about elements and assets to be more specific the overall emphasis is about 3d models that is imported to the current engine.

https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/20140923074426-40661050-what-are-the-common-types-of-game-assets

No it doesn’t you just like dongs

Again, it’s the use of the words “engine” and, now that you mention it, “elements” when you mean “assets”, that’s confusing in the highlighted sentence. More so when you considering the bad grammar combined with the fact that you use the term “engine” again in the wrong manner in the same sentence.

yup dude forgive me English was never my first language, but what i meant was clear.

The current engine they are using for MVCi probably import a lot of elements from previous MVC3 specifically i am saying is about 3d models.

What term should i be using instead of the word engine?

There’s no need for any term at all, just refer to the game as the tame.

Also, it’s “art assets” or just “assets” and not “elements” when referring to the 3D models.

“Elements” can mean a lot of things, including gameplay code, which they are likely not using a lot of from the old games simply because MvC:I is being developed internally, and not outsourced to 8ing (and under different leadership).

Agree, that Capcom may not be using a lot of elements from the old games(MVC3) and yes i was specifically elaborating is all about 3D models, but what i meant was in general when i used the term elements to answer the earlier comment by NoChart in the thread because I believe that Capcom is smart enough to require the source codes and other resources(not just 3d models) used in their previous outsourced games for future references, possible translation to a newer engine, sequels and re-releases/updates to upcoming future gaming platforms(e.g. mobile, console & handheld).

capcom reusing animations actually was a big deal when u had shit like low-res sprites mixing with hi-res sprites (hella mvc2 morrigan lol). now that its 3d models its not a fkn issue if they use the frame for ryus shinkuu hadoken since the model art over it is upgraded/hi-res to match the rest of the cast as well. yall wanted and supported the 3d models because you fell for the “DEYD GO BROK IF DEY STILL MADE SPRITEZ DOE” meme, so deal with it. it doesnt look bad and its not a big deal

Tekken still uses animations that date back to the original game. It’s fucking stupid to throw away assets that can still be used.
