I feel that this will be the starting roster and DLC characters if anything since I got bullied to kingdom come over the last predictions.

I’ve been reading Gwenpool and I think I’m getting an idea of how she’d play.

Since MVCI will have no assists, I imagine Gwen’s special trait would be to get her own assists from the MODOK mercenary team she’s been appearing with in most of her issues.

So it’d be the same way Birdie comes in to help Sabretooth, or how Captain Commando can summon up his own friends from his game.

I’m trying to think of what the assists would do.

Mega Tony: Would come in and provide some sort of stat buff, like healing, super armor or defense up.

Terrible Eye: Would come in and leave some sort of magical trap on the screen, like Trish’s peekaboo moves, that would set the opponent on fire.

Batroc the Leaper: Would come in and do a divekick assist, possibly causing a ground bounce, like Strider’s Vajra.

Cecil the ghost: Would fly from Gwenpool like a projectile and possibly capture the opponent, like Tron’s beacon bomb.

That’s a pretty solid idea. I think she could also be a mix of BB Hood & Phoenix Wright too; some moves where she’s happily prancing around & some where she’s being a bumbling idiot falling down, etc…

I’d kill for Capcom to put her in & not have her be a Deadpool clone. It could show a lot of people that she’s way cooler than the name “Gwenpool” suggests.

Which is funny since she was already playable in one of the Japanese non vampire if I do recall. It was MSH actually. She basically had Donovans moveset. She was also an assist in MvC?

She was only in MSH as an engine test character and they left her data in the game without intending for players to use her.

Anyways forget her. I’m still adamant they should put Hugo in the game. Hugo doesn’t get enough love and he’s easily as powerful as Hulk. In USF4 he basically already plays like a Marvel character. Some of his normals have armor, his super can traverse the whole screen, is projectile invincible and can combo into his anti air grab, he can get massive damage off simple clap combos, and his EX running clothesline has infinite armor. He’s absurd and he’d easily fit in with the Marvel big bodies.

Forget Haggar and Gief, give Hugo his chance to shine.

Months ago, I did some a post regarding Anita, the best representation of her is her adult version as an awaken by her power which is a character that can stand a chance among marvel and also related to different universe conflict. Watch the video by nostalgic gamer. Her more youngerself is not a fighter. Capcom should Just make her the guardian of Darkstalker world an exclusive crossover games along with Ingrid and Ruby Heart.
