Thor filled that role quite well in MvC3. He was also a much more interesting design in that game as well.

Funny it took about 5 years for people to realize he’s actually pretty decent.

Where are you seeing that? I don’t know of any good Thor players.

Your poll choices are mostly garbage by the way. I don’t see many odd picks or large powerhouse characters, just mostly stupid shonen bullshit that Maximillian would think is cool. No variety in playstyles at all.

Man the BOF series got a lot of love on cameos. BOF 1 to 4 got something. Fuck 5 and 6.
Ryu from BOF1 as a card, Nina from BOF2 as a card. From BOF3, there was Garr on dr. Strange’s ending, Rei on Hawkeye’s ending and Myria as a card (she appeared on BOF1 too, but the card is her BOF3 appearance). And Fou-lu from BOF4 as a card.
BOF3 got the most love. Even Niitsuma said BOF1 Nina would be on UMVC3, but his favorite design was her BOF3 design. And Lupinko hinted at Momo, or BOF3 in general.
