Except that… they wouldnt need to show Dat Moto Kikaku unless/until Strider is actually shown. I mean I aint not legal pro but thats what I would have thought. I doubt this rules Strider out. He is extremely popular, was a highly used character in MvC2, and if rumours are true, he is a MvC1 Alumni (Part of the CapCom, Jin, Strider crew).
My guess is he will be revealed and not only that, alongside Spider man as was his UMvC3 reveal.

Yeah I don’t think this means anything just yet. That would’ve given away Strider’s presence in this game & obviously Capcom doesn’t want that known yet. Strider’s made a bit of a comeback since UMvC3; he’s gotten a new game & was in one, if not both, of the Project X Zone games so I think he’s safe.
As for SF characters, I’d accept 3 if we weren’t forced to have Chun-Li. There’s so many cool SF characters that could really shine in MvC, it sucks that we HAVE to get Chun in every game.
Chun is the female face of Street Fighter. There’s no escaping it.
Doesn’t mean that anyone in the fake leak won’t appear in the game. The choices made there were very safe picks.

Also as much as Im not a big fan of sagat, I was always surprised he never made into a marvel type gsme. Fagat with air tiger knees, air fireballs and uppercuts and a beam super would just be way to raaad to dislike.

Technically wasn’t in MVC1, and Mode Change Ryu doesn’t count! Would LOVE to see him sit this one out, but I fully expect him. I’d love to see someone more interesting, like Ibuki, who nearly made TVC, Juri, Rashid, or even Necalli Gill or a revamped Bison in for a villain to compliment Sigma and likely Wesker. My soul NEEDS Bison and Wesker to go face-to-face and have some banter! Haggar can be Capcom’s Grappler, so we can leave Gief and Alex benched. Even Ingrid would be interesting in something like this, and you’d get to avoid all the, “She’s too anymay for muh Street Fightin” butthurt that seems to constantly follow her around.

It wasn’t shown in the more recent Marvel Infinite trailers, but apparently the Moto Kikaku rights had 2016 tied to it in the PS4 port of Marvel 3, so that could be a sign of things to come.

I really don’t see Commando getting in.
It’d be stretching really fucking far to make a character playable again who hasn’t had a major game appearance in what’s rapidly approaching 30 years. At least Devilotte and Tessa would have the excuse that they have never been in an MVC game before and are fresh faces, but Commando is old hat in every way possible.
