I would really like to see Gill and probably C.Viper return in MVCI as the only sfv characters. akuma is probably a staple. gill could and would have a baller moveset and c.viper is unique in a sense she is different from your average fireball and dp character.

As suspect as that “leak” looks, it points to something I didn’t think of yet: the possibility of “giant” characters in this game. It was done in TVC, and while neither of the giant reps were all that good, I can see Capcom attempt to design them once more for this game. It would likely earn more sales since casuals would love the idea. The characters would likely never be used competitively, but that won’t change much if there’s only one/two reps per side. Fin Fang Foom and Rathalos wouldn’t be my picks, though.
That list is a bit interesting and disappointing at the same time, it has some surprises I’d never heard anyone consider.

TBH who else could they reveal to confirm this list, the Marvel side doesn’t have many surprises.
Those three are really the only that surprise me Marvel-side. This list is will be kind of difficult to prove its fake when they start announcing Marvel characters cause it honestly plays it pretty safe. If Fing Fang Foom is announced in January 2017 I’ll do an Irish jig whilst announcing this list confirmed.
The Capcom-side has by far the most surprises and disappointments…
Sorry to anyone interested in these ten above but I legit do not give a flying fuck about these, I’m really disappointed if these eight made it in. I’ve been browsing articles and threads on reddit, snk, neogaf, eventhubs AND even the god damn youtube comments. I really can’t remember a single person whom had any of these ten on their wishlists. This is just my opinion not trying to bash anyones favorite character.
I guess if Gill and June show up in a character reveal you can confirm this list to be true.
This list is absolutely missing Darkstalkers, I’m not even a big fan but its a tad sad. I’m pretty butthurt there is no Nemesis, Anakaris, B.B Hood, Hayato Kanzaki, Dan.
Two big dragons? Sounds very wrong? Plus i don’t think they would go as bigger characters than sentinel like they did in TVC.
About Monster Hunter the Cats a big deal in those game like chocobos, black mage and moogle in Final fantasy. They have many promotion and gimiks with those cats even solo games.

Gill makes sense. He already has MvC type super art. He can be the phoenix of this game, pretty has similar fire (and Ice) based moves. Would NOT want batsu in this game. He is a Ryu wanna be scrub. I want that man Kyosuke in this bitch, but maybe not enough fan support for that.
Character that I’ve been told by my own source (same one that I had to redact from certain posts) isn’t in the list, so this “leak” is highly suspect.

If that list is true I got 60% of it for Capcom side, lol. At least Rashid, CapCom, Tessa, Leon, the Sengoku Basara character, the Power Stone character, the Rival Schools character and a Phoenix Wright character other than PW himself.
The guy also teases that Power Stone might be coming back… that would be pretty cool.

Yeah that list felt off to me. Half of it was pretty plausible but then you see shit like Tessa from Red Earth and June from Star Gladiator and it loses all credibility. Those franches are dead and buried. No way is Zangief gonna be the third SF character either.
They said their goal was to revive dormant IPs so Tessa wouldn’t be that surprising. She also appeared in a number of crossover games in the past.
I called bullshit one that leak when I saw five sf characters. No fucking way one series is getting that many reps.

I would love Simon Blackquill getting in. One of the best characters characters in Ace Attorney and his samurai motif would easily fit for a fighter.

Usually Capcom does ties it in promotion and does obscure characters but with sense for fighting style diversity not just doing it by random. it does not goes with all swords, guns and fist line up.
