Am I the only one that isn’t sure about a newcomer, that isn’t from a fighting game already, getting in?
None of the new characters amazed me design wise. The creativity they had when creating characters seem to be gone. I’m sure if a BOF rep makes it in, I won’t be satisfied.

I really hope Venom gets a full moveset overhaul like Thanos did.
I liked MvC Venom fine, but I want to see some new stuff.
I’m hoping more for something like Cap where the character is the same base design but flows better and has several new tools to bring them up to standard versatility.

Mysterio was always my favourite nemesis of Spider-Man’s. I just think the idea of illusions is really cool and I’d love a fish bowl headed character along with the flame heads. Like he could have real moves and fake moves, for example he could have a ceiling that crumbles down, and they have to decide if it’s the genuine move based on visual cues, confusing the opponent on what is actually real and what’s just an illusion, and maybe they can get smacked in the ass if they judge wrong. Imagine something like Gamma Wave but it just goes straight through them, and they have to figure out if it’s real or not. There’s a good handful of potential moves in this one clip.

Imagine if he had a fake tag.
Edit: some ideas on that. Let him do it whenever he could do a tag. As long as he’s still stuck in something that he fake tagged out of let him control the illusion just to make it more convincing. He can even do the little “I tagged out” taunt, just make it cancelable into anything. Super with mysterio? Fake tag out then throw a web ball. Opponent has to consider if the web ball is real. If it’s fake then they leave themselves open to mixups, especially command grabs. If it’s real and they don’t respect it they get captured.
If Blade doesn’t get into this game it would be a crime against humanity.
I like that a lot, unique and very true to the character.
Although I’m afraid with the game’s current budget any character will be more in a “generic fighting game character style”.
I expected more of the dlc chars in terms of crazy character abilities… i.e. the Sigma virus is only featured as part of a cinematic lvl3 hyper, not as a unique gameplay character specific mechanic.
Storm will have her own ongoing solo next year, written by Coates and drawn by Jen Bartel. That should mean she’ll be a dlc character for this game. 
I want Ammy back with an Okami-style ink meter that she uses for projectile specials.
I want a new black bunny with bunny minions and space weapons.
All these “storm” words being used, they should really put Ororo Munroe aka Storm on this game.

The rest of the dlc characters will ALSO have a premium costume. We can assume it will be available at launch like the recent revealed 3. With that being said…

Is there any explainable logic why in a SFV reveal trailer they’d choose to highlight the Cap and Com in different colors? Because we all know who Cap Com is and that’s Captain Commando, I’m curious because maybe it’s a little nod to him.
Edit: maybe it’s just because he has two designs. Wishful thinking.
