Okay, this has been partially addressed here, but I’m curious on you guys thoughts on how Jedah can be placed in MvCi and still be Jedah. We’re talking about a character that bled constantly and cut off his own head as a guard reversal. When Vampire Savior came out, I didn’t realize that all that stuff was supposed to be blood, probably because of the weird coloring it had, and I’m sure that was on purpose. I also didn’t know Jedah was mutilating himself until I had the game at home and had time too look more closely. But with the Internet being what it is plus the way the camera zooms in on today’s cinematic supers if Jedah is up to his old tricks it will be readily apparent. So I’m thinking he’ll have to be toned down, but it seems to me that would involve fundamentally changing the character. IIRC most of his moves involved cutting himself.
Most of Gamora’s comic costumes are trash. I’d rather have the movie costumes tbh, just add the yellow around her eyes.
Gamora in the comics was hell uninteresting anyway. I’d punch someone in the face for movie Yandu.

He had a move where he jabbed his needle-like fingers into you and inflated your tits with blood until they exploded.
There is no fucking way they’re not cutting out everything that made him cool. If he’s in this game then he’s not going to be Jedah anymore.

Eh I didn’t see anything to horrific that can’t just be made a little less horrific in that vid. (green blood for instance)
The character will be fine. If you want gore, MK exists.
I hope the inflation fetish command grab gets cut anyway
It only got festishy for Lillith, the rest were comical from what I remember, plus I don’t think Marvel wants to see any of their heroes turned into balloons.

Way to miss the point entirely. I don’t merely want gore. I’m not interested in gore What I want is for him to be creepy and disturbing as fuck, like he was in the original games. I don’t want the amazing artistry of the original games to be digested and shat out into nothing by this soulless cash grab.
If they ruin Jedah, it’s all the more reason I’m glad ArcSys announced that DBZ fighter, because that means no one will give a shit about this garbage game.

Jedah was visually nerfed in the US versions of Vampire Savior so you wouldn’t even see everything he could do if you only played Darkstalkers 3 or CFE. He was visually two different chatacters in US and Japan
That’s why I’m really interested in him as they always say Darkstalkers characters are a challenge to model. I imagine they’ll censor a lot of the stuff involving blood, but could get lucky with some things. I just want lots of spinning scythe shit and airdashes. Hopefully his blood signature super comes back in some way also.
