okay the marvel roster for MVCI is missing a couple of key characters. the Key Marvel characters that were involved Infinity Gauntlet / war series it does are Captain America, Iron-Man, Hulk, Spider-Man, Hawkeye, Doctor Strange , Gamora, Nova, Thor and Thanos. it’s big shock that characters who are highly important to the whole Infinity Gauntlet thing aren’t in the base roster such as Silver Surfer and Adam Warlock.
People are giving credit to Rikurikumore because he got right 2 GnG reps and a Monster Hunter.
My theory is that the Gaf guys’ sources are from the marketing team instead of insiders, so they got their info from the E3 build.
But it seems too odd to assume that a build would literally be the launch roster. Like, why would they even come to that conclusion?

Seems like mostly everyone is accepting the leaks, so I wanna know what you guys think hunter is going to be like.
Similar to Dante, I think he’s going to be one of those characters with a fifillion special moves. There’s tons of weapons with varied moveset, plenty of items, armor, cats and monsters. I wonder if they’ll try to adapt the actual MH playstyle(slow and methodical with large weapons) or make each move just be a different weapon. Or who knows, maybe a weird kind of stance character that switched between large weapons, small weapons and guns.

Obviously characters like Wesker and Strider Hiryu will be in for DLC later on but that’s my base. Covers different ranges and archetypes.
30 seems to be the magic number for me. If they added 6 more characters, even if from UMVC3, I think there wouldn’t be that much backlash. Haggar, Ammy, PW, Dormammu, Iron Fist and Ghost Rider. (not favorite picks, but something I would do if I were in charge). Or Just CapCom and Venom in the base roster.

Which is sad, since he used to be capable of some pretty intelligent posts. The po I first met several years ago was an alright guy. A bit extreme in his opinions, but able to explain and defend them to some extent. The po we have now, if he were a Dungeons & Dragons monster, would be known as a Large Fuck Elemental.
Anyway, to get back on topic: What’s going on now is interesting. I’ve always wondered how constrained Capcpom’s PR efforts are, and their apparent inability or unwillingness to address this ragestorm we’ve been going through is revealing. It may well be that they don’t view us as a major audience for the game. They might even be right. Or it may be they feel responding to unpopular leaks gives undue weight to leakers, so ignoring them is the best policy. Who can say for sure?
Capcom is confident as fuck. They will not give a fuck when you expect them to. If you’re waiting for them to give a fuck, you’ll only find out that they don’t.

The ragestorm is essentially fabricated and doesn’t dictate where the game will go. The ragestorm is inevitable because Marvel/Capcom fans find a way to have a problem with everything any way. Capcom isn’t going to give any statement on something that they are not going to confirm is real or they may not even actually know.
These characters aren’t officially the characters and they’re not going to address fake rage. When they tell you who the characters are THEMSELVES, only then will they address your rage and probably not the way you want. These guys just released 5 new characters in a Season for SFV instead of Sagat and Sakura. They don’t have fucks to give.

Acknowledgement like that is exactly why you’ll *always *get the bare minimum in games like this. Why even bother going all-out if you can just fall-back on DLC down the line? Despite being a small fraction of the 2 million demographic they’re looking to appeal to, those who think they (Capcom) can do no wrong will be the ones who’s opinions are highlighted.
Everyone else are simply haters waiting to be left behind…
