You know, I haven’t really cared that much about bringing Psylocke back or not, but if they modernize her I can totally get on board with that. Psi-katana FTW.
I didn’t have much hope for Taskmaster, but with Chris returning for seemingly no reason aside from being inexpensive to port, I wouldn’t count Tasky out. If it doesn’t cost much money or take much time, he might make it in.
Leon Kennedy is in and his gameplay will revolve around having a CPU controlled Ashley Graham on screen at all times that needs constant protection. She has 400k health and does nothing but scream ‘Help Me Leon!’. If she dies, the round is automatically lost.
May as well leave it here on the off chance Capcom sees it and cares (yeah, a long shot, I know):
I’d like to see Nina from Breath of Fire 2. Very visually distinct character, she has plenty of Marvel-style mechanics (flight, for example) and plenty of projectiles to work with through her magic.
Failing that, I’ll take returns of Amaterasu and Frank West.
On the character topic – the wording ‘2017 character pass’ has me thinking this game will adopt a yearly ‘season’ structure like SF5 – is that right?
Mike Evans: We… can’t say much more at this point than the first announcement right now which is this character pass. All the characters are launching in 2017 after this September launch. Sigma will be the first of those 6, but yes, it’s a 2017 character pass… and they’re coming out quickly, right? That’s already a little bit different to Street Fighter – but I can’t say much more than that.
So basically, the characters are done, or close to it, but rather than wait for a Holiday release, they’re gonna put them in the Space Gem’s DLC box and make you pay extra…
If they started doing dlc characters only after release, we would have six months minimum of silence before they gave us the first. There’s more than just the model on a character.
Nah, people only thought it was Dorm because one of the early trailers ended with a tease of his appearance. He was never used as a distraction/red herring. Meanwhile, MvC:I’s trailer story trailer straight up sets Ultronsigma up as the big bad.
yeah, still hoping for thanos i missed that guy. he should be like Bison in SF4 the big baddy in the story yet playable normally, while seth is the default final boss.
