Rhino seems far fetched.
Plus i’d rather get Doc Ock or any of the Goblins if we get a Spidey villain.
Magma dragoon can easily be an akuma alt. I’d pay top dollar for that.
And yes akuma will be in the game.
Kraven the Hunter would be the best Spidey villain if we didn’t get one of the big ones
Or Mysterio, he could probably have a lot of fun moves.

There’s no way Vulture is getting in, especially when they could use Falcon instead.
I think Ock, Venom, Green Goblin & maybe Carnage are the only viable Spidey villains. I’d be hype for Kraven, Mysterio or Sandman though.
I sigh anytime I see Kraven… sigh… I really hope he doesn’t make it anywhere near this game.
He’s one of the most boring spider-man villains imo. He’s discount wolverine… The whole concept of Kraven puts me to sleep…

I love Venom as much as the next guy, and i do hope he returns, but the other Spider-Man villains would be good choices for a fighting game too.
Doc Ock, Kraven and Green Goblin are the Spidey villains I want to see most in a Marvel game. Sandman and Electro would be cool too.
Sandman and Octavius have the most moveset potential, but that would require actual work on Capcpom’s part, so they’ll just do Venom again and make him DLC.
It’s pretty sad that Marvel’s flagship character has had only 1 playable villain in 23 yrs of Capcom 2d fighters.
Also it sucks that none of the FF have ever appeared in a Versus game yet, Doom has made multiple appearances.

since we have 2p/2k back, theres no reason that i can see of not having some mvc2 characters come back. someone id really like to see and that i think has a good chance considering his movie role coming up is cable.
We know we wont get mvc2 cable copy pasted into this game, so ahvb loops are out. But from what ive seen in the gameplay so far cable could still be insanely fun if hes put in. maybe make it so ground combo can only hyper to time flip or ground hvb, and you can only get ahvb off wall bounce (1 time).

Lets give Capcom the benefit of the doubt in that they will do what they did in SFV and thats give us the characters that didnt make the SFIV cut.
That means the most popular/slightly obscure characters that were left out of MvC3
