You know you can dash by pressing any combination of L M or H together, right?
LMH :qcf:+L, L+M, :df:H. Try it like that. When you hit a down direction you will stop your dash (this is the beginning of what used to be considered an advanced technique called wave dashing)
@Poongboom Been in there, that’s where I saw the combos etc; But I haven’t read anything in there on what type of timing you need etc for the dash :df: :h: to c
It doesn’t matter if you read the timing! Practicing it is the only way to any combo down. Get off the forums and practice the combos. Reading the timing doesn’t matter if you don’t have the muscle memory! STOP POSTING AND GO TO TRAINING MODE. NOW. SERIOUSLY
Well, last post. Sorry if I upset anyone by continuing to post lol- I’m still at work so I only post while here, regardless, I have been putting in training mode time and seem to be getting closer. Thanks Nissan for the “timing” post, or “visual queues” as I am new to fighting games and didn’t know the whole “too late/too early” thing.
I remember when I first bought my TE (about a week before Super came out). Coming from VF I could press buttons in the right time, but my left hand could not do movements at all.
haha, I used to stay up from 11PM – 6AM trying to do Abel’s f+MK, st.HP trial. Was too tired to go to College, so I just slept through class basically. 60 Hours of practice later, I could do SF4 trials easily.
So yeah, it takes time, but the important thing is that most of the time I was having fun. Keep at it dude, you just need to train with the Arcade stick as if it were a sword or bamboo stick.
