Hey man thanks a lot for the compliments. I really appreciate it.
Today’s work: Melodic Relaxation
Should I get monitor headphones or monitor speakers?
I think the major consensus from skimming the thread states that I should get the speakers. Would it be different if I were to tell you I that my computer is not exactly silent and that I get some ambient noise outside?
My computer fans have a humming effect. Outside my house, there are cars in the distance. Not loud, but you hear them passing by often. Also the rustling of trees and plants. Basically, I don’t have a room that is purely silent.
Both. People are gonna be listening to your work on a variety of different mediums you should do the same to see where you made mistakes/what might need fixing.
Monitor speakers, monitor headphones, in your car etc. listen everywhere!
That is some sound advice. Thanks.
Now here is a doozy of a question. So, monitors in essence give you the pure sound without any coloring. Does that mean it doesn’t matter what brand or model I buy? If they all give you the pure flat sound, what could one model be doing better than the other? Shouldn’t they all be the same? :looney:

The world of producing seems pretty vast. There’s really like not many reference points. It seems like everyone does thing’s slightly different.
No, just plug in in thru the USB port and you’re ready. You may have to map controls, unless the keyboard has software with the mapping already included.
Will cop and spread the word. You should be famous man your beats are mad nice.
someone made me a soundcloud but its only got my worst shit on it cuz i keep the good stuff secret.
