The Console player tickets are getting near of being SOLD OUT!! Come on guys I cant belive we had 200 people show up at Nemesis and absolute no support for this event that can kick the scene a notch up for gods sake SIGN UP !! they even got MADCATZ sponsorship for the events and here we are only 30 people signed up … NO AT THE DOOR REGISTRATION !!!
Just want to take a minute here to remind everyone how important this tournament is for Montreal.
Not only will this take 1 of our majors and turn it into something BIG with LANETS but this event is our chance to shine in front of many sponsors. CIPC a local computer store is a huge sponsor at this event is they are the ones that get people like ASUS & MadCatz to sponsor these events with them. I got my way into getting in touch with them and so far so good … BUT PLEASE if you live in Montreal this is a MUST SHOW TOO event. Help your local scene reach that level of Super Hype ! This is our chance to keep on shining !! Nemesis 2 was a huge success I don’t understand how LANETS event has only 30 people so far registered… is the online payment bothering you guys so much ? we offered to do it for you if you bring us the $$… is the price too high ?? come on 25$ covers the 3 days event and you can even SLEEP there if you want no extra fees nothing its 25$ and you have a blast all weekend playing with top players and getting to know everyone more. Im really disappointed right now of the turn out… we have worked so hard for Montreal and this is the thanks we get in return? For the people saying SSF4 is dead blablabla you’re wrong its still here we just been playing it less because of MVC3 but yeah like i said the Friday night we will have our own private MVC3 tournament (5$ each) or else you play SSF4 and get hungry for that win!

Goddamn I just check the tournament section on the Lan ETS site and with just 30 participants the total cash prize is already of 800$ I imagine the 200 is not even in it yet…Peeps better sign up theres a lot of dough at stake
800$ is based on the number of 80 people we gave them … its pretty sad we not even at half that number … anyways if we end up 40 only it wont be 800$ but it could be more than 400$ depending on left overs and what we bring to the table… so yeah the more we are the more BONUS we can go get …

really a shame about forcing kids to use cards (especially non-locals), but i suppose it is due to LANETS’ rules… I think that’s hurting participation the most, as opposed to other tourneys…

People could pay on site they just need to REGISTER online because there is no door registration.
We encouraged people to pay ahead of time to be able to get more bonus $$ from the LANETS people…
The more $$ the bigger the pot gets right … but people just stopped caring in MTL … that’s the sad part and people are cheap around here … asking 10$ for an event is already a lot for most of the non regulars … Also most kids think its not fun paying 10$ to loose vs the top players while they dont understand that the experience of a tournament is so much compared to playing at home … but wtv cant force people …
Don’t forget to blame Ontario for something.
I dont blame ontario this event was signed since September but we made it public after nemesis … thats when Super was dead i guess …
