very impressed by this tourney!! 128 players is freaking huge. the volunteers did a good job handling all those matches
was cheering for canada to win so was disappointed that rebelo was so close to victory but lost, maybe next time. dieminion won fair and square so its all good. maybe snafoo with his sim is the best for handling guile? maybe rig the brackets next time lol.
the level of the games was very high, very impressed with montreal. some of those matches with the fuerte, abel vs js master and chun vs ryu and that balrog that switched to gouki mirror were very exciting. also the arturo matches, man that guy just wont die lol, he gets killed in the first match but always makes a comeback to win the series, very clutch
spooky works really hard to bring everyone a high quality stream, props to him. hes one of the people that makes the biggest impact in the SF community.
This was the best time I’ve had since joining the community.
Shoutouts to Woolie for unintentionally pointing me towards a name I’m finally happy with as a nickname, Zako. Should have seen that one a long time ago.

I like to give big shout outs to all the people that came up to me when I was in Montreal for this tourney and wishes and pray for the best for me and Bower about the court trial that just happened earlier this afternoon.
I almost didn’t get to come down to Montreal because of this. I also love coming down to Montreal to compete the hospitality/competiton is so friendly and glad everything work out and he had a foster home before my court trial started.
As what happen at court.
I been acquitted from owning a prohibited animal “Pitbull” charge and Bowser is not deem a pitbull and is still officially license register as a Boxer/Rottweiler mix therefore this whole matter is over with and Bowser will be coming back from safely soon and I won’t be harrast by cops/animal controls on what my best friend looks like ever again.

Okay before a long list of shoutouts I would like to say that Montreal is an awesome city, rather cold but the scenery is great, the Poutine was crazy good, and the strip club was ricockulous, but most importantly MTLSF NEMESIS 2 was GODLIKE!! Easily one of the best events I’ve been to. The venue was spacious despite the 200 people that attended, the hype was over 9000 and the competition was way more than I expected it to be. You guys proved to me that Canada is on the same level as America and I hope to motivate you guys in becoming better than America real soon!
Pierre, Thirtyhitscheap and MTLer - Thanks for inviting me to this helluva tournament. Really appreciate the hospitality, made me want to stay another few days but the bus calls I guess. I’ll definitely come back for the next one and bring along some of my EMP teammates. Montreal is TOO nice man. Canadian Hospitality > Southern Hospitality.

I still don’t know how you managed to pull it off but mad respect. I literally gave sp00ky my fight money in donation. You make it look so easy but it’s a really hard role to play.

Montreal and everyone in general, we received such a warm welcome as soon as we said we were from Halifax, and the fun didn’t stop until we had to go. From drinking that Saki shit in the back alley and all the beer runs we did, it was one hell of a time. Halifax’s scene really only started up when 4 was released, so to go and interact with a scene that’s been going for a lot longer and is a lot stronger then ours was truly something amazing. Thanks everyone!

I don’t care what no troll says, I liked watching grand finals. I can see how some would say that Guile mirrors are boring but it’s really about who stuck it out the best and Dieminion proved he had the better nerves, reaction, and skill that time. (And the gull to lame it up when he needed to.)
I’m glad he didn’t fall for spectator opinion. “It’s money” and he played it as it was. I mean, he tried giving us something different with Guy and Viper, but when he went for Guile, I was pumped. Good stuff to possibly the best Guile in North America Dieminion and the rest of top 8.
