**Results for the New Age of Salt #4: Resumé for those who missed out on the hype
With the absence of Worker Song, MTLMVC3 was ready to receive a new champion. Old champs and battle hardened veterans all wanted to step in to fill the now vacant champ position.
After an amazing parcours, FreddyLoco(godlike) ran it back all the way out of losers to reach the grand finals, defeating long time rivals and fellow top player, Smokey in a grueling loser’s final. Our hero , bolstered and battle hardened by his victories was ready to face “Mitsuru” in the grand finals.
With a display of unprecedented skill, he made quick work of Mitsuru’s team, comprised of Zero +Assist 1 and 2 and quickly took the lead to 2-0. The 3rd match was very similar with our hero(godlike) taking a quick lead by leaving “Mitsuru” only with Rocket Racoon. Sadly, the unthinkable happened. A pause out of nowhere, from our hero.
In an unprecedented display of scuminess that shocked even veterans like Jimmy Bones, Mitsuru took the win. Then something happened. Either “Mitsuru” had made a pact with the Devil when he took that win or our hero was losing some steam. As per her habit, “Mitsuru” used and abused cheap Zero tactics to steal 2 more wins from our hero to take the lad. Our hero(he is godlike) did not falter despite this unfortunate turn of events. He tied the score 3-3 in a convincing manner, and no one could have predicted the outcome of the grand finals. Using more fraudulent tactics, “Mitsuru” manage to eke out a win in the last game and took the title of champ home. A title with as little honor as a Lannister.
