So I really want to learn how to play Marvel but I suck at fighting games on levels reserved for people who don’t understand the concept of “press a button to hit the other guy”. I live, like, right around the block from Foonzo - If I show up some random evening to play is the usual crowd there generally alright with dealing with an utter scrub? Trying to find other people to play with is a severe pain in the ass as I don’t know anyone locally who enjoys fighting games and the online scene for MvC is… lacking, to say the least. I just want someone to practice against and learn wtf I’m doing.

As always we will be having a venue ticket and an entry ticket. The entry fee will go to the prizes and be split 1st/70%, 2nd/20%, and 3rd/10%
Venue Ticket – $10

SSB Brawl (Singles) – $10
SSB Brawl (Doubles) – $20/team
Registration:
Registration for an event closes 45 minutes before the scheduled start time. For example, registration for SSF4:AE will close at 12:15pm (45 minutes before its start time at 1:00pm)

Popped down to Foonzo tonight for, like, five minutes and it seemed really cool - Unfortunately I went home to get my stick and caught instant girlfriend aggro, and not of the fun kind. >< Hopefully next time something’s going down I can stop by for a bit longer, because it seemed like good times. =)
