Here’s a useful post for once on this forum. I’m gonna help out all the MTL Yun scrubs. This will teach you the basics.

cr. -crouching (if not mentioned assume it is standing)
When I don't specify a punch or kick, means that you can do which ever.
Bread & Butter combos:
(lp),lp,lk,mp, lp shoulder xx genei-jin
(lp),lp,lk,mp xx genei-jin
mp, fp, b+fp xx genei-jin (gay, won’t talk about this one at all)
After the combo above
-Basic combos-
near corner (any distance that is less or equal to the length of his fp rush punch)
Shotos/Makoto,ChunLi,Q, Necro, Elena, Urien, others
… genei-jin, mp, f+fp, f+mk x2, palm, f+mkx2, palm, dp+fk, lp shoulder, f+fierce, lp dash punch
Yun/Yang, remy, dudley, others
… genei-jin, mp, f+fp, f+mk x2, fp (or mk), f+mk x3 (sometimes just 2), fierce xx DP+fk, DP + mp, walk up cr.mp xx DP+lk
midscreen
… genei-jin, mp xx mp shoulder, fp shoulder until corner --> in corner, swith to mp shoulder, continue that and try to finish with f+fierce, lp dash punch

Random activation of genei-jin
Activate when opponent is knocked down, preferrably near you.
Or during a blocked bread & butter combo.
Here’s are the possible options:

Please use your brain and judge the distance and timing for any of the above. I didn’t write about character specific combos (can’t have everything in life) but what I gave is a good approximation. Just practice and you’ll know what to do against who.
Because using genei-jin is mainly about doing the most damaging combo with whatever time you have left, don’t try to do these combos exactly has written, many variation exists.
So, you have to freestyle wherever I wrote “…” at the end of a combo, depending on the time you have left.
Most important thing to do with genei-jin is to actually finish the combo (when your super is over). For example, don’t try to do more palm if you feel that it will fuck up the combo ender, because it will do less damage than a good ender and it won’t give you a good amount of your super back.
