People can’t draw parallels to the last sitting president but it’s alright fto reach all the way back to Carter for Obama? You’re right, the sword needs to cut both ways. I think it’s wrong for Obama to continue harping on the magnitude of the issue this far into the term as a fall back.
We get it, you did take over a sinking ship but what have you done to patch the holes and bale the water out? I also think it’s wrong when politicians making serious bank during a time of economic doubt openly declare the number one priority of their party is to make Obama a one term president. What about the tax payers paying your annual earnings? How many of us or what do they fuck over in the process? Don’t know where you were when Mitch McConnell made this remark but from my perspective, Republicans aren’t angles either.
I gave Bush credit where it was due. I disagreed with another middle east conflict through Iraq. The man has joked about finding WMDs behind a couch in his office before in response to the lack thereof in Iraq. Mind you this is after hundreds of deaths. I give Obama credit where it is due and ding him where he missed it, Bengazi being the latest miss for him. Look, we can bash the current president all we want but when the republican camp’s opening to talking points consists of, “When Ronald Reagan was president…”, I’m not really to energized about them either. Well said. I agree with most of what you got here. Many of the staunch Republicans believe Regan was the gold standard while ignoring what Reganomics did to a number of other people. At the same time they can’t remember a time in which a President has seemed so inept at his job since Carter. So yes the exaggerations are there so much that they will place their faith in McCain and Romney because Obama hasn’t done enough and 4 more years will put us in worse shape. Much worse.
There are mishaps and then there is straight up lying and covering up for the sake of saving face or simply not caring. Obama really fucked up with the Bengazi incident.
