Is MK Trilogy (N64) any good? Fellas around here play that game like madman’s…
Mortal Kombat has always been more fun to glitch than to play. When I was in high school, my local arcade had a loke test MKII. We got two or three different versions of the game, including the final one. The most entertaining thing about the game was the glitches. You could do shit like make a whole screen full of babies appear, or do a babality as anyone with Shang Tsung, then change back and uppercut the baby (it just vanished with the usual blood effect).

The fixed PSX (Greatest Hits) version is arguably better. Alot of problems with the previous versions were dealt with in this one making it alot more playable.
Only thing that the N64 version has to go for it is Khameleon. The male Chameleon isn’t as cool…I think the whole ‘hay guys lets mix the ninja’s powers’ thing is old and unnecessary. Khameleon’s fun, because they haven’t overkilled the ‘hay guys lets mix the powers of the female assassins’ thing yet.
I DO like MK, but only 1 and 2. To me, the original MK atmosphere is a valuable thing, and MK2 has a nice gameplay, I can still have fun matches with fellow players… yes, Mileena IS god tier, but still beatable unless played by a pro IMHO. I obciously liked it for its fatalities 15 years ago, but when I came back to it is to actually PLAY the game. That’s my 2 cents =)

Mortal Kombat 4 is ass…
I actually played Trilogy recently. It’s good. I can’t play it worth beets, though, less I’m using Kitana or Mileena. I kind of like Deception because of the hilarious new characters. Have you guys seen Kobra? He’s kind of a mix of Ken Masters, Terry Bogard, Iori Yagami, and Kyo Kusanagi. It’s funny and whatwhat.

I loved the aggresive Meter in Trilogy. Even better than the Run Meter.
mortal kombat as a fighting game sucks, plain and simple. the only reason why it’s popular is because of its outrageous and gruesome violence. and that’s not even something worth taking pride in
