The sample size is fine. When people don’t like the results of a survey, they always say “bawwww, teh sample size is too small”, even if they actually have no idea of what an appropriate sample size would be.
The article’s definition of bisexual, however, is complete bullshit. One little schoolgirl crush or boredom-fuelled fantasy during a mid-life crisis means that a woman should be classified as bisexual for the rest of her life? Absurd. The Daily Mail article actually talks about the women being bi-curious, which is a far more sensible term to use here.
Only terrorists and terrorist sympathisers complain about using The Daily Mail for this kind of story. Why are you paying attention to them?
Well the main point i was getting at was that the article was far too generous with their definition of bisexuality because under that same definition most guys would be bi too by the example I gave. As for the sample size, well when it comes to research like this I tend to be q bit skeptical. I remember a few years ago a research paper was published stating that men found women whom identified themselves as feminist made the best gfs. As it turns out the sample of people questioned were bfs of women taking women studies and no one else outside that particular sample group was questioned or allowed in the survey lol.
