Some people do get mad at that, I remember that guy I was playing on 2df and I was beating him all the time then I said ggs and exited, right after, he pmed me telling me why I ragequited, i told him i said ggs and all, and he started insulting and sayin that im a noob pussy.

I think he was adding to what he said just before that–how most payers are cool; even the ones that beat him badly, and I agree that usually players are trying to be polite and encouraging when they say that, but some ppl might say it in a way that sounds sarcastic/condescending. I HATE to say this…but because I can be self-conscious and damned sensitive, I usually feel more comfy playing someone around my skill level, cos if they’re too good for me, I feel like I’m wasting their time, and if they seem to be new, I feel like they’ll get discouraged and/or that they’ll give up, OR even think I’m being sarcastic when I say “GGs” to them. BAH…gotta stop being a worrywart 
What I keep wondering is why most people even pay attention to trash talk. You shouldnt be offended by your opponent’s insults and stuff. Just play, if you loose ignore the chat and keep playing. You get training, they get nothing because you wont even be reading them.
i’d rather spend 40 minutes helping someone brand new to the game to understand it than spend even one second in a game with most of the mashy online assholes who think they are hot shit when they don’t even know 1% of what third strike is really about.
help the community and help new every new player you see on ggpo, we need to help third strike . we need to accept every new player with a good attitude.
boycott the assholes, they hurt the community. dont even play them in games dont respond to them in the chat. make them quit because honestly they are a cancer for our fragile community.
if you ever yell at someone that is honestly trying to learn the game that they are a scrub, please quit this game. this community does not want you. go examine why you are so angry instead of trying to hurt the feelings of the earnest new players who come to learn.
please also never mention the trolls by name, they are so attention starved even negative attention gives them what they want.

That was AWESOME. This is perhaps the TRUEST thing that could ever be said about 3S or ANY game. No one’s forcing veterans to teach new players anyway lol. I mean, could you honestly imagine a new player taking someone hostage, putting a gun to their head, and saying “teach me how to play street fighter OR ELSE!”??, and then if the person doesn’t know, the hostage negotiators surround the building and ask for the ransom demands, and the nutjob says “I want an expert to teach me how to play sf, and he’d better be a YANG player”, or something :lol:

The ggpo room for this game is completely worthless now. I just cant a game going smoothly anymore and Im just tired of it so Im just gonna give up on it.
I really wish that Ponder update this program to get this game running as well as the others. I heard that It was something to with getting the source code for the emulator that it runs on. If thats the case then it might be found here:

I never understood what could be the reason that CPS3 game could never be implemented well for GGPO but im done with 3s online until this can get fixed (which could be never)

There are still jerks at both ggpo and 2df but from my experience, 2df 3s runs very smoothly for me especially since being on an island, I am far from most of my opponents that I play regularly and despite the distance third strike runs smooth.
@sakura_otoshi: By “smooth” I think he means that the game runs without lag at least enough so that things like parries and links are not only possible but can be done without being frustrated to the point where you want to put your computer in a box, put that box in another box, mail it to yourself and smash it with a hammer!
oh lol…i don’t know…i’ve been able to parry supers normally with anyone lower than 70ms
