bought this game, did coop with 3 others until we hit level 24. brain-numbing boring, forcing all of us to yawn nonstop.
the cutscenes are unbearably annoying, and the only one or two specials are useful (freeze and team AoE spells e.g. that team laser spell that destroys everything and does massive damage to bosses).

dont just mash square. it’s not effective. do jump, R2 (slide), slash, double jump, tilt down + x (downward attack) repetitively. just keep repeating this sequence. it’ll net you over 50 chain combos (giving you instant full MP/HP) easily. and it’s braindead easy. use freeze on lasers and team AoE on everything else when you get the skills to a high enough level and it’s GG like that for the rest of the game.

there is nothing challenging about the gameplay and square enix did a terrible job with the story, if you can even call it that. most of it are just scenes showing a character reading poems that have absolutely nothing to do with anything.

i rate it 2/5 stars, since as a beat-em-up it’s better than most others available on the PSN store but as a game, it is severely lacking in every category.

Nice review and thank you for the feedback i’m glad i didn’t throw away my money in that game.
