Au moins la xbox360 est sortie depuis un bout et d’ici le mois de novembre y aurront 1 an d’experience. En plus, ils ont cross-platform pour leur jeux. Tu peux connecter du monde de xbox360 avec PC (windows vista) et cellulaire, ca va etre fort ca.
PS3, ca rouler sur comme un emulateur durant E3 lol ils sont meme pas pres.
Ils te force a choisir blue-ray au lieu de hd-dvd :rolleyes: la seul chose qui va la sauver c’est les jeux et la populariter. BTW, ca coute 700$ :wow:

IMO Nintendo is a joke in and of itself and so is its new product the Wii.
It’s no wonder they’ve changed the name from Revolution to Wii…because it’s not in the least revolutionary.
Just look at their line up of games presented at E3: Mario, Zelda and metroid!!!
WOW they’ve been churning out the same crap year after year and i bet that 10years from now they’ll still be making the same games except players can now control their characters by banging their heads against the wall.
And did you guys see the choppy graphics??? Its understood that the gameplay is what makes or breaks a game but better graphics can’t hurt…furthermore it adds to the immersiveness of games can you immagine playing a game like WOW on a 32bit video card? It wouldnt have any bearing on how people play the game of course but your experience as a gamer would be very limited
As for the WII controller i don’t see how it’s supposed to make gaming more enjoyable, people are usualy exhausted when they’re playing video games and just want to unwind so the last thing they wanna do is start jumping up and down and waiving their hands around (and looking like complete clowns) through loug-haul gaming sessions like Resident Evil and Zelda.
Nintendo is never going to have the technological edge over sony and microsoft so it’s always going to make up excuses for their underachievement like (“graphics isn’t everything”) and come up with lame gimmicks like the Wii controller
If Nintendo keeps this up sony and microsoft will wipe the remnants of its stinking corpse off the video game industry.

both M$ and Sony wasted billion of dollars on their complex systems for nothing, they make it so hard for developpers to code games. It’s gonna take a couple of years before anyone can take full advantage of these architectures.
For now, the graphics are as good if not worst than PC graphics, I haven’t been impressed at all.
Nintendo at least came out with new ideas, something original. Their graphs are not bad at all, I’m pretty sure a lot of companies wouldl love to program games on their simple platform.

They did not waste their money because their systems being more poweful and more complex offer more possibilies to game developers and it shows in the quality of the games ie more details, destructable environments more lifelike characters and smoother gameplay whereas the characters and environments in the games shown at the nintendo conference looked like CARDBOARDS…who is Nintendo trying to fool
they should have released it in 1999 maybe people would have been impressed
but kids will still buy the it because it has pokemon and mario but for mature and hardcore gamers the wii has very little if anything to offer

While sony and microsoft were presenting new and innovative titles such as Gear of war, Crisis and Alan Wake nintendo on the other hand was showing their brand new pokemon and mario games :looney:
in 4years nitendo will come up with a controler that people can control with their feet and people will think it’s original but wheter you play mario and pokemon with your hands or your feet it’s still the same crap
You’re not listening. PS3 has 7 processors and each one does a different job. Think like a developper, how would you feel about coding on 7 different processors when you’ve been progmming on a single processor for years. How about the company’s DG/CEO, how would you feel about spending so much money/time/humain ressources just to take full advantage of this complex CELL processor.
At least XBOX360 has just 3 processors that are similar, it will take some time for developpers to adapt, but not as much as PS3.
WII just came out recently, it’s the newest out of the PS3 and XBOX360. Give it sometime before you’ll see more interesting games.
I could use your sentence to some up Crisis, Gear of War etc. The only thing that changes is graphics, the gameplay is still the same.
We can sit here and argue for hours, let’s just wait till the end of the year and see what’s gonna happen. But I think price will be a major factor. You could buy a full WII bundle + games instead of wasting money on a PS3 system only. Also, PS3 games will cost more since they’ll be burnt on a new media format, the blue-ray.
I would buy a PS3 just so that I could sell it on e-bay for more than 1k $ lol
well you’re not pointing out anything new there, improvements usualy entail more research money and manhours what’s wrong with that
a good CEO would never want to adhere to the same old technology otherwise they’d be outdone by other companies why do you think that companies invest billions of dollars in research?
7 processors of 50 processors it doesn’t seem to be hindering game devellopers in their ability to come up with great games just look at their line up of games and gears of war and crisis are both new games which have never been made for previous consoles
you can wait for interesting games to come out on the wii but i wouldnt hold my breath if i were you
