BAD NEWS: Montreal’s downtowns’ SF scene in DANGER
I have indirectly heard, from a friend that has spoken to the
owner, Jerry, that 2000+ was in the border of bankruptcy
:wasted:. The owner affirmed that too few people were attending
and playing the arcade. If everything is true and continue in
this way, 2000+ WILL CLOSE IN THE END OF JUNE, :sad: .
I only hope it’s a rumor, like the one that MAO started for MIRA.
Unfortunately, I doubt it, everytime I go there, the arcade is a
1/4 full.
P.S.: Sorry, for all 2000+ players, but the INEVITABLE will soon
arrive.
P.S. 2: Veas, you didn’t answer my fucking post yet, how are you
going to ECC ?

I highly doubt this will happen. I know the owner personnaly, and I just talked to him a few days ago and I asked him how the arcade was doing. He told me it was doing great. It’s pretty much the only arcade left in Montreal, and everybody goes there. These guys have been in the arcade buissiness for a long time now, I don’t think we have to worry about it.

Considering that arcade makes a killing during the summer, I don’t see why they would close for financial problems.
Actual money spent + money spent losing tokens to play a game = profit.

It’s impressive but not possible in the arcade. All those combos are programmed down to the last frame so they don’t miss anything.
