Can you name a team in marvel that is not repetitive? Chipping to death? Not sure about that - sure she chipps more than other teams but at least she does get a hit in. You’re not blocking 100 percent of the time are you? Her 6 projectiles to your 1 seems like a good trade for her since she lacks speed, air dashes, and low meter using supers, etc… people who call her or strider/doom cheap are people who don’t know how to beat those team. Sure they can beat that team once in a while but when its 1 out of 20 games or so I believe they just give up and end up closing their minds. My point is - the whole game is repetitive and redundant period! I won’t say its cheap because there’s ways around almost everything in that game… that is if you’re good enough to figure out how to do it. Thanks and good day.

haha couldn’t resist. I agree with what Duc is trying to say. Don’t get me wrong Marvel is the shit, but one cannot deny that the entire game is repetative. This is especially true after playing the same teams and players over and over and over again. Essentially, it is because of that reason that we see teams like BH/cable/cap, spiral/sent/cable, strider/doom teams, and many others have come up. I believe it is great because it gives variety to atleast to some aspects of the games commonly found repetitiveness: new character choice, new strategy, and generally… new experience. The more competition you find, the more likely you will encounter new teams and you will in some cases have to change strategy before or during the middle of the match. That is the reason I choose not to label new teams I play as either cheap or repetitive. The truth is tha without them… Marvel would really become boring… and fast. So I say new competition and new teams are always welcome in my book. Gotta keep it fresh right?

Uh, how many “montebello” mvc2 players are actually any good? I go a decent amount during lunch or after work, and I’ve only played 2 guys that I thought knew how to play. But even with them we usually split wins and can be considered casual players at best.
… but NICE with the random hype lol. Btw, machine on the left has shitty sticks, buttons are spaced too far, screen is broken and damage is not set to the right setting. Far right machine the 2nd player stick only moves right and not the left. Why would an arcade get 3 machines and only maintain (sort’ve) only one of them?

spiral is cheap Jajajaja thats fucken stupid there is a way to get out of the trap son learn how to pushblock and super jump. ALL teams are cheap calling psyloke, doom, comando all day Randomly. every character is cheap doing random supers running away with storm building meters and then doing supers all day corner trap ironman and doom chips as well, bullet doom super. Dont get me wron all this team are good and this are called TACTICS or people learn how to execute their combos. spiral is not cheap she is not strong as sentinel or cable and there is many ways to get around her all u have to do is play against her and u will get around it soon. BH is not cheap he is slow and if u use storm or cable is not hard to get around. Practice is the best way to get better im not here to challenge or ? ur thoughts but calling teams cheap is not the answer.
