now that i have permission to talk about this game, i’ll share my impressions of the characters and answer any questions you might have.

So were those two the only new characters playable?
Which of the old cast were playable in the loketest?
Did the change of the graphics altered a lot of the gameplay specs?

Ryougen, Maya, Othello, Orju and Katze from the original cast were playable from my understanding. The graphics havent changed the gameplay very much but the game is actually pretty damn fast now.
AC is actually far better than Vanilla Monster. Even better than 1.01
Estimated tiers thus far for AC based on how they are now
Butterfly man <cant remember his name off the top but dude is extremely sick>
maya <her current mixups are insane. Insane cross up and unblockable potential>
Othello <he may not be as combo bound and as simple as before but he is still just as strong>
Katze: Very solid as always: great mixups, MASSIVE damage
Delga/Enkaku: Debatable which should go here. Personally I think Delga
The game actually is rather balanced imo. Ive played against a few people and im basing that Gameplay on the tier list. Alot of things were changed. Delga has great pressure in this game his only big weakness is that his supers practically serve no purpose.

Something finally happened with this game.
I wouldnt really worry about othello much, He is VERY hard to play now with his new moveset. The danger in othello comes from being infected by him. But infection doesnt last very long. He does have some really serious damage though.
No burst is gone, BUT AC has plenty of defensive options
As for absurds, some can be used but there really isnt a reason to do so

Is Aleksandr still underpowered? Still no special moves? Or at least are his combos about the same?

is there gonna be a console/pc release? would hate for this game to pull an akatsuki: get released in jp arcades and that’s it. 
I think doujins always get release in Arcades and maybe PC.
I’d be content with just a PC release, so then we can at least play it online.
Im not going to give you any info about aleksander but I can say that he is still one of the worst characters in the game lol

There is already a PC version of the game, It just isnt out for public use yet. Dont ask when it is going to come out because im not going to tell you until it is near that time.
Of course you would be content with a PC release, Thats the only way your going to play it outside of japan lol
