Not exactly true. There WILL be future PC updates. Just not with the new characters. The PC version will get the new system for monster + Story mode.

Again, it’s prolly just going to follow in line with how things worked out with Melty Blood. When Act Cadenza came out in arcades, and all the PC peeps who followed the game had to look foward to was “Final Tuned”, which was a patch that upgraded some of the aspects of the game to be likened to AC, but had no Kouma and no AC-style Aoko or Neko Arc. People had to wait til 06 for the PS2 port of the game, and then a year later for a PC port (which had even more content).
So…all things considered, I don’t think Examu is going to handle things that much differently from how Ecole and French Bread handled things with their product. We can probably count on seeing a PS2 port some time after the AC release, while the PC original will be more in line with ShoK’s original vision, but won’t have the AC game content. Maybe a PC port of the AC release may be in the cards too…I dunno…

After seeing the game in action, I might give it a try. Maybe he’d even consider putting out an english translation if there’s demand for it.
PC updates are fine too.
Probably wouldn’t be so much on him, though he might try pushing for it.
In the end, if the AC game does indeed get a PS2 release, it would probably be more on some one like Atlus to take up the reigns of localizing it, as is the case with Arcana Heart.

As the (I think) first person to bring Monster to the attention of this board, I must say I’m excited. Though I haven’t played in ages since netplay got worse and the best I can hope for is maybe 30 frames per second on Japs.
Besides, I suck anyway. And Rail keeps on getting nerfed. :sad:

Ah yeah, i forgot this Monster AC thread, its good to know that is still alive (sorry AyaInmortal, but i find somewhat dumb to close the other thread just because you arent working on the game anymore, there is still some interest in the game), im not THAT hyped with the game anymore but well, i dont know, maybe the game will not be so balanced as they promised but i still want to check it out.
