If I remember correctly people bitched that they preferred just having regular srk on their phones rather than srk mobile so it was removed.

just joined today to use the search function…only to find out it just leads me to a blank page and my browser says “done”. i’ve tried using mozilla and netscape and another computer. any ideas?

Didn’t think that would be so easy cause when I neg’d someone I only did -50.

1 million seemed like an insane amount to me, but some people really need to be dealt with that consistently troll and post dumb shit.

No that’s quite the opposite, more people wanted srk mobile because the settings did not cause slowup via downloads (avatars, banners, etc)

No, that’s quite the opposite. It limited browsing features and forced the wack mobile format so people complained and wizard removed it. it’s all in the thread.

Everyone always says that it doesn’t work. I don’t have problems with it. As long as I don’t put something uber generic like “Ryu” and search all forums.
Just make sure to select which section to search in and you shouldn’t get the white screen. I haven’t.

no its really broke today. i came in here to request a mod to find a thread for me. ive been here long enough to know how to work it…im getting the white screen of death as well.

I’m just going to add that before the upgrades the forums went through the search was actually working for me.

We also need to fix the video thing.

If someone makes a Marvel video then it belongs in the Marvel section. If someone has tournament videos then they post them in the results thread and it works nicely. Street Fighter 4 videos belong in the Street Fighter 4 subforum. So if a topic belongs in General Discussion and has a video to support it shouldn’t we be allowed to post it in GD with the video?

:u: Yes, if it is a discussion topic that uses the video to provide a point. However, most video threads posted on GD are nothing more than links to videos, which is why they belong in Video Gallery.

If you want a video to slide in GD, you should write your piece and then post the video to complement what you wrote to allow for discussion, but almost no one actually does that.
