oh sorry. I assumed he was a mod cuz of the advice he gave.
What do I want? I’m not trying to be difficult, and I respect what you say. I appreciate all your hard work.
What I want is to avoid making the same mistake again, and avoid making you guys do unnecessary work, and also avoid being penalized. Is that not a worthwhile goal worth pursuing?
So what if I genuinely want to follow the rules, but I need to clarify exactly why I was penalized? Could the reason be because of news event posting like Adam said, or perhaps something else entirely, such as comic book threads that you explained.
General discussion rules:
Discuss anything you like. But if you’re talking about fighting games, please take it to Fighting Game Discussion!
I was not aware that demonstrating similarities to comic stories to news stories was against the rules. Your explanation for keeping it in dc threads explained that to me.
Had I listened to Adam, then in the future I might have received further infractions, and caused more unnecessary work for you because I just “let it go” instead of clarifying how to avoid the violation.
I received an infraction because people didn’t agree or like what I had to say? So which is it exactly? Is it because I should keep it in dc threads? Or because people don’t like it.
Because if it’s the latter, you do realize that I have no control over that right? If people don’t agree with my opinion, and enough of them disagree, I pretty much could get infracted/banned.
I mean, if it’s some kind of repeat offender posting rap lyrics despite repeated warnings, then yeah that’s understandable.
I posted one of dozens of news threads. The only difference was my desire to demonstrate the similarity of reality and fiction. I was never warned and got infracted. I am happy to comply and gladly stopped.
So again, which is it exactly? Should I keep it in dc threads to avoid infractions? Or
Or should I try to read the minds of the masses in srk in order to avoid disagreements?
