Mod your Stick of Joy at West Coast Warzone: January 14, 2011

Thank you for understanding Ni8wing. Don’t think I’m not listening to suggestions though. We feed off the public responses =)

If it’s just Wii by itself and you want it dual modded on the PS3 TE, then the price of the Wii board is $20, $20 for the Imp switch (to switch consoles) and Wii Chuck Cable, and $60 for labor. $100 total to add Wii support to your TE. Recently I did a multi console mod with PeeWii Support. Came out great! ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting

Hey James. Looking to dual mod a TE R2 Xbox 360 during or before WCW. I sent you an email. Let me know if you have time. Thanks.

i completly agree…

Hi, sorry this is last minute up to the deadline for west coast warzone. Had to check funding and things.
So follow up to what I would like:

  1. I have a 360 Tekken stick that I would like modded out with with Sanwa buttons and a sanwa stick too. I would also like the button mapping to be swapped around so it matches the Madcatz stick button layout. You mentioned a hybrid stick to get this to work? I’m down with that. I own the extra buttons and a ball top, but do not have a stick. If I have time in the week I will also print out art on a proper template size and lami-label it. Could you guys attach the art while modding? How much would this cost. Labor, and a joystick.

  2. I would like a wired xbox 360 pad with quick disconnects on it for a custom stick. I have the box and everything all built and ready, just need the insides. What would that cost? Any discount for getting multiple work done?

Anyway I’m definitely set on these, so reserve me a spot. Thanks!

I think I need my stick rewired, because sometimes the buttons will just short out and I have to mess with the wires. What do you think the problem is, and can you fix it also how much would it cost. Pm me back plz and let me no cuz I’m rarely in this thread.

Where are you located in So Cal?

I custom build boxes and modding myself. I am interested in checking you guys out. Maybe we can work together on some projects and help each other out. Anyway, PM me if your interested. I would definitely like to check you guys out regardless.

Thanks,

Secret

Is your Arcade Stick a Custom or Manufactured?

I am in Westminster, and jamesepoop is in Anaheim.

I need you guys to dual mod a 360 TE —> PS3. How long and what’s the price. Please pm me. I’ll be arriving Thursday. Was wondering if you could do it Sunday. Thanks.

had

Hmmm maybe I’ll quit work early and head over to WCW and finally say waddup to a few Team Tech Talk dudes.

kubebot, I want to talk to you at WCW.

You should know how I look if you follow Tech Talk.
Laugh.

Likewise

jamesssss put me down for a reservations for the LED mod =( <3

btw last question about the mod, say you guys do mod it with 6 seimitsu screw ins. how difficult would it be for me to replace the buttons while keeping the LED mod?

Forgot to put you down man.
Laugh.

Gummowned will be doing the LED Buttons for you.
So I don’t know how the wiring will be done.

Some people make it able to disconnect by use of pins and headers.
My recent LED Button was done in way which impossible to change anything.
The wiring is super tight, and you cannot remove or move without cutting all the wires.

We can always cut and re-splice it for you since you’re local! No worries. How often do you change buttons?

Team Tech Talk dudes are legit and I’m happy to know such folks. You lemme know if YOU need anything guys.

The wires will be soldered to the arc-eye led boards and going to screw terminals. You’ll be able to take out the buttons and remove the microswitch and all, but its going to be a hell of an annoying time to do so.

I just want to say that J&J So Cal Modding does great work and the fees they charge are very fair to turn a TE stick into a 2 in 1. Who wants to go to a tournament lugging around a PS3 and 360 TE stick if you can have both in one? Good work is’nt cheap and these guys know their stuff.

Last thing. Just a heads up
The guys at aiab who put together the stick did a really good job but they did dot the screw in buttons with hotglue so you will have to have a way to heat/remove the hot glue :frowning: sorry for the inconvenience

Justin i can’t believe you. Hot glue!!? Don’t worry man, we’ll just leave your stick out in the sun. And then drill two more holes at random. lol. I have a real heat gun that i can bring. Thanks for the heads up.

As long as one of the holes is on the front of the arcade stick to fit an RJ45 I’ll be okay haha. Anyways I gathered alot of the stuff for the custom stick that i wanted built. I’ll talk to you and jdm about it more at Warzone. Are you guys gonna get there friday or saturday?
