I will say this, you’ll be more likely to finish it if you have some sort of personal connection to it.
Otherwise, it’s just a really cool model that’s poseable.
What I really think is neat is that not everything Gubpla is Gundam, few years ago Bandai did a really killer Star Wars Model line, they also do other mecha and other anime series too.
I think they got some Warhammer 40k stuff into the works too (probably cheaper than forge world).

There is a Gunpla community that’s organized by one of the Hobby stores here. Every Sunday they do a meet and greet for people of all skill levels. I’ve known about it for about a year now, but haven’t gone. I think I’m going to pop in.
