Could someone link to match vids featuring Sinanju and/or Gundam GP02 please? Wanna see how they are in this game.
wow this is one game I actually would like to pick up. much more interesting than anything coming out in the traditional fighting game world these days imo
GP02:

Thanks, in the 1st Sinanju vid, is the player playing keep-away?
Who else reserved the game? Just want to see who actually will have it since we should try to have at least a few players for the game on shoryuken.
I’m actually torn between importing this and BBCSEX right now.
Difference:
CS Extend will be coming out here, although a few months after the Japanese version (about 2, I believe?). This will never come out here. Unless Bamco surprises us and does, like how OG Planet is releasing SD Gundam Online in English (and that was just announced last week).
Just preordered my copy. Feels good, man.

Because it’s a 2v2 game and one where shooting is the main method of dealing-damage, keep away is a pretty common tactic. This is especially true for units that rely on ranged to fight over melee. You’re also more likely to get gang-up on in close unless your partner is ridiculously good at support fire.
How’s Zeta in the game? I love Zeta in GVG Next.
Zeta was actually one of the best units in the game, prior to a couple of patches for the arcade. Currently, it’s still quite good, just not quite as overpowered as it once was.
HM Ive been interested in this game and I heard it similar to Gotcha force/ zoids for the gamecube. If I do pick this up is their some guide to start learning the game mechanics?
Thanks. I hope online matches are okay, and not laggy.
The best I can tell you for right now? Go to GameFAQs and read up on their FAQs for both Gundam vs. Gundam NEXT Plus, as well as Rengou vs. ZAFT II. While they both pertain to older versions of Gundam Vs., a number of the system mechanics listed very much apply to Extreme, and it could pay to get at least somewhat of an understanding of what’s going on before you pick up the new game.
For example, I would recommend reading up on the fundamentals of “Next Dashes” from NEXT, and also “Step Cancels” from RvZII. Both of those are present in Extreme, with a few changes.
Also, if you’re familiar with Gotcha Force, that helps too. If nothing else, the notion of how can save up meter for a “Super Mode” should make you feel right at home, right along with how every unit has a “cost” that you have to balance for.
I really liked Zaft, and Next. Seeing EXVS videos it looks Zaft and Next put together. Still a little bit upset, I won’t be able to play this in arcades since I only played both Zaft and Next in arcades. /:
Come to Japan, I need a partner! >=(
For which game? Lol. I played Chaos in Zaft and in Next I play Zeta.
The fact that there is no Rx-79[G] and no US release depresses me.
Extreme VS, obviously!
