Maybe your local game forgot the amount of points you had, so it would update to correct number if you go play 1 ranked game? Just a theory, no idea if it’ll work.
Yeah I understand what you are saying. Some of my friends reported the same thing- their bps in ssf4 mysteriously going to zero (it still is correct with “most bp” though.) I’ll make a vid on this glitch when Im not busy
Im so proud of Juicebox its untrue, his footsies with Juri in his match vs Snakeeyes’ Gief was amazing to say the least, he had such clutch to pull the FADC ultra when he needed it and made it flashy.
Revelations has been an amazing showing for Juri, im already so damn hype.
Yeap, that was so hype, amazing game by Juicebox.
I’m kinda disappointed reading this.
Basically confirms that they intentionally made the twins a bit too good. Oh well, I wasn’t planning on winning any tournaments any way.
i dropped the match winning ultra on vangief so i went and cried in a small corner the rest of the weekend.
was that on stream? Think i recall seeing that, you did well anyway dude, mad props.
The important thing is how and why? What was the setup?
It was on an Ex Dive Kick. He landed the kick, but didn’t input the ultra correctly (he didn’t whiff it, it just wasn’t excuted).
Well get in the lab and make it automatic!
i shouldn’t have done this because it was zangief… but i did it anyway because its more guaranteed:
on some characters, ex dive kick into u2 will sometimes barely not reach. so what i’d do is buffer the ultra, walk up until the buffer is still in effect (very short time) then hit KKK. what ended up happening was i screwed up the buffer, so i only got a fireball kick =_=
i also blame using u1 a lot more recently ><
why would ultra 2 whiff fter an ex dive kick?
Sometimes ultra will not reach where the opponent falls. Even if it is timed perfectly. Happens Cody for example if you are too far away from the one side of the screen. Sometimes it just doesn’t space right.
In this case though, Zangief was in range.
How I look forward to the day where I am good enough at Ultra 1 to put Ultra 2 behind me.
imo you can’t pressure someone like zangief, so at the end of the day you’ll still need u2…
but eventually you can abolish having to use u2 against runaways like bison, or against shotos (fear of reversal)
i’d still use u2 against cammy – you can punish a lot of things
i still use it against akuma as well. i’m still not very good at this matchup so i can’t say why or why not u1
i use it against balrog too since it’s sometimes odd to try and connect cr.lk after overhead while in FSE. his crouching hitstun reel makes him harder to hit.
brb going to NCR
Nah you have the right idea, Ultra 2 for the grapplers is a safe bet, especially with a good chance of landing ex dive on a misplaced green glove.
FSE against balrog is cool with having decent wakeup game against him (cr.mk). You just have to connect far short and problem solved, sometimes you can use far mk after the overhead to get beast damage.
I always assumed U2 vs Akuma for possible vortex threat and because of his array of escape moves; teleports, Dps, Ultra/Super…
Good luck ar NCR!
Hi guys. Long time Chun-Li mainer here. Was shopping around for a new alt, settled with Juri. Mostly because I really don’t like the E Honda nerfs in AE.
I’ve been through the steps too, over the past two months or so. Learning pinwheels, teleports, stored shenanigans, and spectacular failures with mistiming U2 off EX dives. I’ve lost a lot. But, I think I find her interesting enough to keep on learning new things. I was confused with U1 at first, but when my old MvC1 buddies did trial mode and told me, “lol, its dat mahvel/SFEX chain” it became easier to understand.
Lots of casuals over the weekend, and an AE tournament next week.
I suppose I’ll try not to be afraid, and give her some exposure during the times where Chun isn’t working out for me.

If there would ever by a Capcom vs SNK 3, she had better be rivals with her distant cousin from the other company (and opposite end of the moral spectrum).
I mean, prototype Juri was rocking the Kamen Rider belt too.
This was recently brought to my attention via eventhubs:
If you saw this dont worry about it, Juri isnt affected. The glitch only happens when the knockdown has Yang facing down, IE if he lands on his back it doesnt work, Juri only has 3 knockdowns that satisfy this criteria:
-Backthrow
-Ex Dive Kick
-Ultra 2
-Backthrow: Its important to note that the invicbility only happens on the side that Yangs head is pointing, when you do a backthrow, his head points the other way, so long as you dont go for a crossup, you can still safe jump him from the side that your already on and do everything you would normally do on other characters.
-Ex Dive Kick: This ones a no brainer, just dont miss a combo off of it, make sure to hit the pinwheel/jump fierce/Ultra 2 and you will be fine.
-Ultra 2: This is the only knockdown that matchs the full criteria of the glitch (Sorry Ultra 2 users), the 2 solutions are that you have to do a safe crossup Medium Kick or light kick or, the much better solution, pick Ultra 1, like you should be doing.
Other than that, you wont have to worry about this glitch, Zangief is fucked on the other hand lol.
U2 is the ultra of choice against the twins (mainly due to j.mp > U2; it’s invaluable in this match up IMO). So I can’t agree that choosing U1 is much of a solution.
If you just landed U2 you’re probably in ok shape even if you can’t hit him on wakeup.
Against the twins, that palm meter building b.s. = free HK divekick right? It sure seemed like that offline and in good connections. Then in this yellow/questionable one it was actually stuffing and trading in Twin’s favor. WTF? I do know for certain in bad connections hitboxes or priority sometimes don’t work as they should compared offline is this the case?
