It seems that the casting of Rarity’s voice may take a little longer. On Mane6’s twitter they stated that a couple people who audition were asked to do retakes and have not replied. Im not sure if this means it will be postponed or giving the voice actors a heads up since there voting is coming to a close. On the other note it seems Rarity’s theme will be released at the same time as the voice actor reveal follow by new footage afterwards, not sure how long afterwards though.
The newest episode for this saturday got leaked/prerelseaed on iTunes. I decided to watch it because I don’t think I could go that long without getting spoiled.

You guys think the fact that this was made in a game maker will hamper it’s tournament viability?
I know the ends justifies the means but if I tried pitching this to a local tournament and bring up the fact it was made in a game maker, they’d probably laugh at me.

What the game is made with has nothing to do with tournament viability. People just make snap judgments about any game made in game making software because as soon as you bring up “fighting game” and “game maker” people starting thinking MUGEN and think it can’t possibly be a good game.
If the game is good, it can be played in tournaments. The game is probably going to be good, and there’s already a bunch of players willing to dedicate themselves to the game (myself included,) so I don’t think having competition is going to be a problem.
What will be a challenge is getting the game to existing tournaments like EVO or SB or whatever. Side tournaments are nice, but if we can get enough players (and good ones) to show up, TO’s might take notice.
I wonder what Mr. Wizard’s doing now after he expressed his interest in this game.
