For a toy company, Hasbro sure makes sucky toys. Like, I need “high quality figurines” not “toy with brushable hair”. I need nerdy things to fill my desk at work with.
Rarity palettes look awesome.
The blind bags/Toys R Us Pony Collection Set is probably the best you’re going to get from Hasbro.
Aside from Fluttershy, they’re fairly show-accurate, and the newest wave of blind bags is adding more ponies from the show. Of course, this is all assuming we’ll be seeing any blind bags getting widespread distribution in the states.
I still don’t understand why they making color sets based on “basic”(i mean “that what you see in the show”) palette. If it has limited hue variation and limited contrast just make basic model a colorful mess to make other palettes without this limitations.
Mismatching colors on eyelashes, hair and eyes making me want to kill somebody.
It’s possibly be best to take color request from the fans and try to find the best colors from there.
The typical color swap from other characters is neat and all, but seeing it done over and over on every character can get really lame.
Blind bag set 1 recently started showing up in random walmarts in the states, and while it’s technically random, each package has its figure’s number printed onto it, so just follow this little sheet to find the figure you want
I’ve been on the lookout, but nothing in central Florida to speak of yet. Then again, we got the Pony Collection Set (basically a reprint of the blind bags) a month and a half after it was confirmed they were in the US.
Can’t wait for the game to come out so this thread will finally be about the game.
