MLP: Fighting Is Magic - A Fighting game for manly men only (New characters from MLP creator?!)

Nothing wrong with the idea, for that matter, no idea for a combo video is bad as long as the execution is right.
Problem is, the presentation was done very poorly due to the how dull the intro turned out. But, because I found the intro so unappealing, and it took 25 seconds for the combo video to actually start, I just lost interests in watching the vid itself :frowning:

Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash duet? YES PLEASE!

How did you guys come up with the idea for this game?

to be clear WE didn’t come up for the idea for this game. We are only fans of the game

Awesome episode and song.
This just in: Twilight not cool, could never qualify as Rainbows pet

Is pet assists a thing that is happening, or just wild speculation?

I will have to agree with Pozer on the video… By the time the combos actually started, I felt the time I’m willing to give a random combo video was up and closed it. Sorry, I’m sure the combos themselves were awesome (although not possibly as awesome as Rainbow Dash).

haha

This week’s episode made me smile pretty big.

<3

I know, i was hoping someone from the game would answer the question.

i think that its simple, they are fans of the show, and fans of the fighting game genre

edit
just finished to watch the chapter, nice as always

New update, featuring an explanation of the HUD

Seems to mainly be an update to say that the game still exists.

Already better than UMvC3’s HUD

sO FROM the latest ep.
The Mare-do-well could be an amalgam of the other Manes’ moves all in one character
No Season 2 stuff planned for the original 17 character roster unfortunately.
So no Equestrian Sky protection from Fluttershy and no Tactical Rainboom from Dash. The cast and by extension their movesets will be season one characters and abilities interpreted with the lens of a fighting game.

Having your super bar with a number and the three dots telling you your meter seems kind of redundant though, I figured they were two different things. I don’t really see a situation where you would need both.

On the subject of the new episode,
Rainbow Dash gets called out for being Rainbow Dash. I don’t understand the question. Granted, it was a long time coming, but swagger is what makes her character. Can’t be mad though, it was a fun romp, though I must admit I enjoyed Dash being awesome in the first half more than Dash being sonned by Mare do Well (figured her deal out the second time she came around, probably took me longer than it should have), but that’s to be expected, to put it in sports terms, I’m a total homer for Rainbow Dash. But how the fuck do the ponies build a road that leads down a hill to a cliff? Like, that shit’s asking for trouble. Ponyville is looking pretty dangerous, with all those random disasters happening in the span of what, a couple days at most.
Also, despite all the mad some people had over Feeling Pinkie Keen (I enjoyed that episode), I’m glad to see the Pinkie Sense come back.
And finally, Scootaloo is best CMC.
I want that Rainbow hat =P

I want a gradient on that HUD for some reason.
Just white seems to stand out a bit. Well I’m off to catch up to several weeks of episodes.

That new HUD is looking damn good.
I just wanna give that new HUD… a spanking and tell it how bad it’s been. Yeah…

That isn’t saying much, but it is a nice HUD.

On the new ep

Spoiler

I didn’t like it.

So I just got an HD cable box, as apparently, the old model I had was discontinued and when it broke I got a free upgrade to HD.
My first thoughts were, now I can watch football in glorious high definition, and its true, my Green Bay Packers have never looked better, but my second thoughts were, now I can watch ponies in glorious high definition!
Dear god its like I didn’t even watch season one. The colors pop so much better, and everything is so clear its ridiculous.
Guess I’m rewatching season one, not that that’s a bad thing.

Back on the subject of the new episode, upon further review, it definitely was the softest episode this season by a pretty large margin, at least it wasn’t Owls Well That Ends Well.
