That Bobby Abreu deal was an absolute steal by the Angels. As much as I hate them when they play the Mariners, the Angels are a superbly run franchise, and deserve to be playing on the grandest stage of all. They’re definitely who I’d like to see win the World Series if it has to be an AL team.
Also, my stepdad and I were LOLing hard when they pitched around Hunter to face Vlad. I understand that you’re looking for an out anywhere in the infield, but shit, that’s VLAD. Take your chances with Hunter, you’ve got first base available to you, and you can try and make him make a mistake. Yeah, Hunter BURNED them in game 1, but still…interesting choice.
