Same way you can fight against a secret character you haven’t unlocked, I’d imagine; if a player has a secret stage unlocked and selects it at stage select, you fight on it, because the content is already on your disc.
I don’t know, kinda not feeling it, was expecting something dark? guess I gotta give it time to grow on me, but I love Mileena’s theme. Dat tune right there captures her perfectly. Liu’s is cool as well.
Yup, Mileena’s is my favorite too. I’m not really sold on Subs’s theme but Mileena’s and Liu Kang’s are both rockin’ and I like Reptile’s theme a lot too.
Can’t wait for the full soundtrack, I love fighting game soundtracks so I am pretty excited to get my hands on MK9’s.

Man I dunno. The theme itself is good. Really good. But I really don’t understand what it has to do with reptile (except for some random shout of his name in the begining I guess). It’s like just a good remix for the hole Mortal Kombat thing. But i don’t really understand why would they call this Reptiles theme lol.
Man I agree with that. I liked Mileena’s and Liu’s theme as well. They fit. And they have that personality of the characters in them.
But bottom line is that some of the music heard thus far is kinda wierd aka Reptile’s or Baraka’s theme. I mean listen to this Oo [media=youtube]pWpPsdgof2s[/media] It sounds more like a bad dj remix and it’s giving me a headache… What the hell does this have to do with Baraka?..

none of these themes seem to have much to do with the character.
Reptile’s theme by Skrillex is banging and i dont care it doesnt remind me of Reptile lol. its also the best track ive heard all 2011 long.

Is that definitely Baraka’s theme? Interesting, I’m dying to hear Sindel’s theme here. I prefer the faster ones like Mileena/Liu Kang over the more dubsteppy ones like Reptile/Baraka (not a huge dubstep fan) but they’re sick either way.
Themes don’t really need to necessarily have much to do with the character, all of them capture the brutal nature of MK pretty well and it’s not like they can draw on themes from previous games that we automatically associate with the character like SF and MvC can.
i dunno man, the MK movie had some pretty memorable music. Would have been nice for some of the new character themes to include aspects of those sweet 90’s tunes.

I think this theme is like the best theme for a video game movie ever and it’s bloody brilliant. I think it’s associatated with the mortal kombat the same way (if not even more) as characters like Scorpion and Sub Zero.
If I were like playing the story mode and durning the final fight with Shao Kahn I would heard this, I think I would die a happy man lol.
