Someone hacked the timer and the page itself because scorpion was already revealed on that flash thing. Their twitter said the server was down… I’m calling hackers.
I honestly wasn’t surprised at the epic failure. I can’t think of a single instance where a site had a long countdown to something big like a new site launch where the transition’s gone smoothly.
Site now says “stand by” with a link to the facebook page. Hmmm… I suspect the issue is being delt with.

Man…the MK team sure knows how to kill the hype for their upcoming game. 12 days for goddamn Facebook jargon? I imagine there’s an actual website to be had, but it’ll have to wait due to technical difficulties, I guess.
Still. Something needs to reignite the hype I once had, since the Facebook thing nearly killed it.
The facebook thing was a massive fuck up, no doubt, but I don’t see how it could kill hype. And this is coming from someone very guarded about the game. They’ll come out with more stuff about it later. The game is going to be here NEXT year. You have to give them more time to drop info about it.

ok, so the MK team is definitely doing a good job with hyping this game up. i can’t wait to see a sub-zero bio trailer and shit. i’m really hoping we get some confirmation from them as to whether Liu Kang will be in the game or not. i’m going to be pissed if he isn’t in the game, that’ll be a bunch of boo-shit.
One thing is bugging me, is this a story reboot or not? Because Scorpion & Sub-Zero squashed the beef they had with each other when they learned it was Quan Chi who set everything up.Yeah I know totally not important really but I’ve always kind of liked the MK story >.>
Honestly, I don’t have too much hype for the story here. It’s looking like they’re meshing game stories together and don’t care.
I only look forward to the gameplay.
