Kenshi out. Picking up the game now. How do you guys feel about MK9 though? Do you think it is a good game?
Kenshi looks badass. Damn, I’m going to get him. I was looking for a 3rd character. I was very surprised and impressed with what they showed.

Kenshi was one few of the shining moments of the 3d MK era. Coming from me, you know that means something special.
Holy crap, Kenshi’s moves are so flashy, slick and stylish! OMG I am so hyped for this character. Anybody who uses his own psionically generated astral projection to beat up his opponents is a G in my book.
Best news? Only have to wait a week for him. God, I think I’m in love. Might have to put Stryker on hold to test him out.

I hope this new NRS is better at making new characters than they were in the early-mid 2000s.
haha yea, not much. I really liked Kenshi, Bo Rai Cho and Havik. Chess Kombat was awesome, but playing MKD matches to decide ruined it. Dont really remember many alternate costumes, aside from Ryu-shi, errr Kenshi. 
Oh, MKD’s Konquest mode was godlike. MKA’s was bleh, a step back. But MKD’s Konquest gives me hope of some kind of full blown MK RPG type game, but more in the vain of Shaolin Monks. 
OK, now I remember that Konquest for MKD was nice. I’m just hoping they continue like they are now. Focus mainly on gameplay/character design, and maybe a story mode at the most. I want to see things get better and better, because they’ve already come a long way in terms of giving each character a distinct personality. They probably won’t be able to do that if they give in and do little extra modes again.
Has there been any report on what they plan to do for the next MK?
Back on topic, I can’t wait for Rain and (maybe) Fujin now. I didn’t think they’d handle DLC characters as well as the rest of the cast, but they’ve shown me something with Kenshi. Now I’m curious for the rest. Rain’s Ultimate Roundhouse is going to be part of his X-Ray. Bet it.

You’ll see a re-release of some sort with all DLC content on disc etc, maybe even a “UMK9” of sorts before MK10.
I might be wrong but didn’t Ed Boon disconfirm Fujin on his twitter some time ago? I think the fourth DLC character is from MK4 and it’s Shinnok, Tanya or Fujin.
I just hope they keep doing more characters after these 4, but somehow i doubt it. 
I don’t see why they couldn’t do four more. After that they need to chill the eff out and let the game marinate a couple of years. I’m honestly good on a new MK until the next generation of consoles. If they’d like to do a MK fighting-rpg in the mean time I’m down for that but a NEW fighting game can and should wait.
I think its a MK4 character too. I HOPE it is.
2 more or so would be ok, just adding a couple more MK4 characters, but yes, after that, 2-3 years while RE-releasing ports of classic games like the Arcade collection as well as an online playable arcade perfect port of MK4 Rv3.0.
I think the tweet was “Fujin is NOT in MK9.” That could be him pulling a Niitsuma and speaking in half truths however; he could easily be saying he’s not in the game itself, but a downloadable add-on.
NetherRealm sent TYM this render of the new MK9 klassic costumes coming next week along with Kenshi, (free seperate or WITH Kenshi). Thats THIS TUESDAY, JULY 5th!!! Also, NRS released a brand new trailer for these skins in action, as you’ll see below:

Hey guys, I cannot find Kenshi at all on XBL. I downloaded the season pass and get nothing. How did you guys find him? I dont see the download on the marketplace, nor on the in game menus in the MK9. Please help me. Thanks.
