Can someone tell me how they go about punishing Sheeva’s headstomp attack? I’m able to make it wiff, but after that the dude is still able to what he wants right after the whiff to stop me from getting in on him. What do I do? I don’t want to get them with a simple projectile which isn’t always consistent. I want to make them scared to use it so willy nilly since ALL of the Sheevas I’ve played online just spam out that attack + fire ball. First day back on the game and I ran into 4.
Hey guys, just wanted to share some random thoughs:
-Noob gets so much hate! Even players that are clearly better than I am disconnect when I switch to Noob and throw out a few shadows. As far as I know he’s not even that good so they should be able to deal with it easily instead of disconnecting?
-I thought Johnny Cage’s X-ray bug had been fixed, but yesterday evening I fought someone who X-rayed me, than kept ducking and holding block and when I grabbed him he X-rayed me again! (with an empty x-ray bar). What the hell?
-Is it impossible to stand up ducking off of a knock-down? Even if I press down while getting up it seems I can still get hit by high kicks and projectiles. So the only safe thing then would be to get up blocking? (against projectiles)
I’m in Europe, btw.

- Not everyone is willing to learn how to counter things they see as cheap or spam. They’d rather lose and quit or avoid it entirely by disconnecting. Can’t change that.
- Maybe the glitch still exists with a different method? Never tried it or had it done against me online, only saw a video of it.
- Pretty sure there will always be standing frame/s on wakeup without performing a wakeup attack. Not positive though.
Yeah a good Noob is a very annoying player to play against and I get frustrated…I haven’t left a game but I’ve been frustrated afterwards lol

I’m getting TONS of “the game session has desynchronized” messages online now. The last time I really played this game online was right after service was restored, and I wasn’t getting ANY back then. Has an official cause of this been narrowed down yet? It’s getting really annoying. Does it have something to do with the MK patch that I DLed last night?
Yes, it started with patch 1.02 and as far as I know neither Boon nor NRS has said anything about fixing it yet.
Don’t pick alternate costumes unless you see 2 Cyber SubZeros and the arrows next to each are flashing. The problem may only be klassic costumes but this is a safer way to go about it. This won’t stop desyncs mid-match but from experience it stops all of the ones before the match starts.

i play mk9 on xbox and can anybody tell me what the 1,2,3,4 talk is about? im lost?does it stand for the different buttons or what?

When you haven’t messed with the config:
Button layout( X360, Ps3)
1 = X, square
2 = Y, triangle
3 = A, X
4 = B, circle
oh ok thx. why dont people just say x,y,a,b etc ? i think its so confusing 
So it can be read by both types of players I believe.
Seeing “3, 2, 1” is easier to read/write (to me atleast) than “X, Triangle, Square”/“A, Y, X” or “FK, BP, FP”. It’s not so confusing once you know and keep it in mind when reading combos and stuff.
