So true. I DESPISE cheese bosses that pigeonhole you into about 1 or 2 solid strategies for beating them. I have to stay at bay and launch projectiles until the round is over, or keep jumping over Kahn when he’s knocked down (most times, he tries his hammer uppercut and I can punish… most times >_<).
Kahn is easy as hell. He just attacks lol. Unless he’s doing hammer toss, shoulder, or overhead hammer, you should be blocking and punishing him all day. The AI doesn’t know what’s safe…
hahaha we play stryker the same way. Ive already got 3 ragequits from hour 1 stryker. I bet id have alot more if psn wasnt down.
The online system in this game is hands down the worst ive ever seen.
it takes way too long to find a ranked match
going into the “rooms” results in people with green connections rejecting or not answering challenges
the only solution ive found is to enter king of the hill rooms, but that means MORE waiting.
Ranked takes forever, but I actually get pretty good connections using it.
Create a lobby with your city or state as the name. Wait a little while and you will have people fairly close join and the lag will be much better.
Additionally: jump-in combo, jump-in combo, standing combo, standing combo, standing combo, repeat. By the time Kahn’s AI catches on you’ve got him beat because he literally doesn’t block unless you’re doing the same thing repeatedly.
People need to learn the significance of the room names. I made a room called “0Northwestonly” and I had like 4 guys come in. Started a king of the kill game. All the matches I had against the guys were pretty laggy so after 30 minutes or so I put my mic in and asked where everyone was from and it was like Connecticut, Florida, and Kentucky or some shit. I ended up leaving to try and make a “0Westcoasonly” room only to have people from the midwest and east coast to show up.
Fucking come on people… im not making these room names because I think they are cool.

Yes well, sometimes people don’t read the room names, and if they do sometimes they are just inconsiderate and go in anyway.

One thing I love about Stryker is how his guns leave him +on block. Basically you end all of your block strings with guns and this can really make people upset.

Also another good thing about the guns is that if you hold the button you won’t shoot the shots and you can actually dash out of them.
So a very early version of the character, using the model from story mode… from this I can conclude that… her voice is annoying.

its gon be a while before that tag team stuff kicks in, I mean the game been out for what a week now, and no one has yet to master there character as far as I can tell.
There was some quite spectacular play on a stream last night, can’t remember what it was called though. Something ‘-gaming’.
A Raiden and Kitana player were kicking some ass big time, hope you guys got to see it.
Those Sektor/Mileena matches posted above were good, didn’t know Mileena could pressure you with sai’s in block strings. Then again, I haven’t actually played against the freaky bitch yet. Also, Sektor had some nice things going off of those teleport uppercuts. Takes notes
