Miyoshi McMillan fired after letting students re-use needles in a blood experiment

Yes, the lancet is the tiny blade used to draw blood. The blade is a couple of millimetres long, you can wipe it down.

The article is not vague. She had students prick their finger, then asked them to wipe down the blades and pass them around to be used again.

Having used the things on a regular basis, I can tell you it would not be a problem for some idiot to wipe down the blade on their clothing instead of using a wipe.

The school board is not being hysteric. Even doctors don’t use the same blade on multiple persons.

Posted in the carpel tunnel thread, but so fitting

Set up to fail? Dumb bitch, it’s obvious the kids should be teaching the class

The school did the right thing. What was she thinking?

Fun fact from someone whose father owns a tattoo shop.

Alcohol doesn’t clean shit. Auto-claves do. If you ever go somewhere that they clean medical equipment with alcohol, book it and call a damn health inspector. Seriously its a great way to spread blood borne diseases and other bacteria.

Manufacturers want to sell as much as their shit as possible, if something can be reused then its not making a profit, period. A lil pin prick to draw some blood and half you dumb motherfuckers going on about it like they in class all shooting up together.

@thurst aren’t blacks at high enough risk for blood diseases? Why you getting your uncle Ruskus on in here?

Also on OP link I noticed this gem:

Better than getting pennies

as long as they fuck a virgin, they’ll be cured of all their diseases so it doesn’t really matter as there are plenty of virgins running around high schools ripe to be had.

Lol! Am now expecting a story from Florida about the dude that shoots fat kids approaching his property on fear of cannibalism.

But most of the virgins are males

Gay Buttsex cures disease?

That escalated quickly

Not all lancets are disposable, dumbass. Fact of the matter is that since these things ARE so disposable it should have been easier for her to get one for every student. If she’s asked people to share them, it screams that they’re the non-disposable kind.

Regardless of what you think of the health risks, she put the school into so much legal grey area it’s not funny.

I mean, seriously now, in this day and age where kids have had it scared into them NOT to share needles, she goes ahead and tells kids to pass a blood drawing device round like dutchie? Look at it from a teacher’s perspective, rather than a biologist.

crucades acting like the result of artificial insemination using a lancet soaked in alcohol.

aww man that was just mean

Just goes to show how corrupt American schools are.
If they hadn’t banned FAG SHAMING, they would fine reusing needles because there would be no threat of FAG AIDS.
Instead, Godless liberals want gays in your school and to waste taxpayer dollars on “sterile lab equipment”.
Watch this all be a front for OBAMACARE and the continuing UNIONIZATION of the private sector.

@XthAtGAm3RGuYX you ever get free work done?

@BBQ I could, but I’ve never been able to think of something i want permanently inked onto me. I do plan do get my last name across my upper back like my father has, but everyone is telling me that would be a painful first tattoo, since the needles on the tattoo machine would make contact with the bones in my spine and shoulder blades. Basically any tattoos that get put on top of bone close to the skin can be a real bitch.
I originally wanted a cross on my upper arm but im not so sure about religion anymore. I was thinking about getting an 829 as an in-joke from the SG fundraiser but i feel like that would be mistaken for an area code that im nowhere near lol.

Piercings dont interest me.

i got a tattoo on my left chest. Wasn’t bad.
Go for the tramp stamp.

I was laughing by the time I read "who taught an honors version of the class "

What the hell would she make them write a 5-page paper about?
