These fees are to get into the convention. there will not be a separate venue fee for those who only want to attend the tournaments. I do not know the entry fees for the tournys. I asked hoping for a list and this is the answer I got:

I am the reigning Street Fighter 4 champ 2 years running for AN.
Last year there were 2 tournaments, one on each day.
The prizes were bragging rights and the other was a ssf4 stick (ps3)
I have no idea what the prizes are this year but as for venue fees, it varies for each tournament I’m guessing. My only complaint was players would wander away from the tourney which held it up for everyone else that was there but you meet some interesting and new players. To my understanding, the weekend passes were for a few events and the vendors section if you want to buy some stuff.
It’s a lot of fun every year when I go and it’s cool to see the good cosplayers (and funny to see the shitty ones lol). I encourage anyone who is interested to go, you won’t regret it!
