Today was a lesson in how luck does play a part in poker. I was chip leading everyone by a fair margin. The flop comes A J 8. Marc, James, Shu and I all go all in. Iāve got A10 suited (my favourite hand) and I figure at least one of them has an ace with a worse kicker. OF course Iām right as Shu has A3 off and Iāve got him in the palm of my hand. The turn was something irrelevant and then the fucking board rivers two 8ās and we chop the pot. That single had was the downfall of my night. Iād have iced 3 players in one hand but Shu gets chopped a monster pot instead and then goes on a fucking rampage. I get iced by EX Matt 3 handed and Shu & Matt split the money. Unfuckingbelieveable.
On a side noteā¦
I had Shu all in at another point and the board makes a straight for a chop.
